Just put up an article about configuring I2S audio on a Beaglebone! Started it back in July but had a lot of learning to do to finally finish.. jackcampbellsounds.com/2020/…

Built a guitar preamp as well! One step closer to building something permanent that can run software :)
Took a break from software to finally get over the hump of actually finishing a hardware project! No PCBs/no software, just learning about drilling, soldering, grounding, etc through a passive DI for our local coffeeshop that badly needed one
And she works! Super quiet and transparent, should help in a pinch at the coffeeshop (we see all sorts of weird stuff there...). Last step is to go to the office and use the label maker to mark it up
Idk if I'm gonna try any of the twitter alternative stuff but if you are out and want to keep in touch, my IG is _colorado_mama (mostly stuff with my dog and audio electronics projects)
/obligatorypost?
Or I'll be at @audioprogrammer discord!
not sure if twitter is going down but just in case, here is Shoreline and CJ from LHS waiting for their cheese balls of colds meds. get well soon mates 💜
Built the electronics for a Talosian singing plant for my friend's convention booth! Uses a captouch sensor so when you pinch the leaves it silences synthesizer voices
I've never done a virtual talk before & obs is hard (get excited for @audiodevcon '22!!!)
Did quite a deep dive into Windows development the past few months... Learned a ton and we made it! soundonsound.com/news/uad-sp…
Talking at this year's Audio Developer Conference! Online-only because I still can't handle planes, but still very excited: adc22.sched.com/event/19wdz/…

Replying to @chicagobars
Why is it always “Chicago is the most dangerous place on Earth”. It’s not even the most dangerous in the country, or even the Midwest
Final bare metal synth article up now! This one covers hooking up an external I2S audio codec, audio amplification, a few tips on a breadboard DC power circuit, and summarizing the synth signal flow to close it out. jackcampbellsounds.com/2022/…
