The sister bridges in #Pittsburgh have a new look for the holidays with an extremely colorful display across all 3 bridges! I think just about every color possible is displayed on them throughout the whole show. Can’t wait to capture the bridges more ways over the next few weeks! – at Pennsylvania, USA

Critical thinking! Making connections! Explaining reasoning! Collaboration! It’s all there!

We had an adjusted bell schedule. Told ss they were stuck with me for 2 extra minutes. One ss said, “I could do this all day.” He was designing his city. Others have asked if they can make two bc they want to do hands-on & digital. #middleschool #geographyteacher #studentchoice
Stole this idea from the LA teacher next door who posts books aligned with recognition months. I searched our school library catalog and selected books set in our current region of study. Design from @canva #geographyteacher #socialstudies #middleschool #literacy
Today we began working on our culminating project for our study of urban geography, in which students are designing a city. Was pretty cool to see some ss experimenting with @canva AI image generator to use as part of their design. #geographyteacher #socialstudies #middleschool
