As local journalists report escalating violence across Paris and the rest of France, we urge all parties to exercise restraint and engage in meaningful dialogue aimed at securing an immediate ceasefire. The events of October 17 did not happen in a vacuum!
Should France fail to guarantee the safety of the brave freedom fighters taking over its streets, we might consider imposing targeted sanctions on wine and cheese from areas of Paris where they face repression.

Failure to comply will leave us no choice but to bring a case before the ICJ, in close cooperation with that renowned champion of human rights, Afghanistan.

I’m surprised to see that X invoices for Premium and other paid subscriptions in India do not include local taxes (GST).
If X is earning revenue from users in India, it should comply with Indian tax laws and collect and remit GST, just like other digital service providers do.
Could you clarify why GST is not being charged on paid subscriptions in India?

A sovereign nation should not allow someone to business who doesn’t respect the democratically elected govt and its policies. This tone is definitely derogatory for the GOI not just for the said gentleman.
Indians can have issue with the policies of the govt. they have the right to protest and demand changes, in fact opposition can raise such issues and demand answers.
But a third person, from a second country has no right to get involved into the domestic policies of a democratic republic

Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India.
Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete?
There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better.

英国铁路有个规定，火车晚点，乘客可以申请赔偿。2025年曝光的一桩案子里，两名在利兹的中国留学生，却盯上了退票和延误赔偿之间的系统漏洞。
他们买了票，马上申请退票。如果那趟车后来晚点，再拿之前的单据去申领赔偿。实际上是利用退票和赔偿之间的时间差行骗。就这样，两人骗走了15万多英镑。现在都被判了刑。
小崔觉得，这事最丢人的地方，不是他们发现了漏洞。人家是故意这样设计，信任乘客，先行快速理赔。
他们却想着怎么多注册几个身份、多开几个账户，多买车票，把英国铁路对乘客的信任，换成他们自己银行卡里的钱。
英国铁路晚点的快速理赔，本来是给乘客的一点保障。但有中国人遇到这样的规定，第一反应却是怎么把钱骗出来。
以后铁路公司不得不把申请流程弄得越来越麻烦，真正晚点的乘客都得跟着受累。
出了国，没人逼你当你国的形象大使，但至少别把守规矩办事的人都当傻子，把自己弄得臭名昭著，世人皆知。
