🚩🚩🚩 Heres exactly how to know that a collab inbound is FAKE 🚩 They're using a GMAIL account when a quick lookup will tell you that they have their own domain. Ex: We looked up Palacioo and found that they use 'contact@palacioo.com' if that's the case, their marketing should also have the same domain. 🚩 They ask you to pay for shipping. NO LEGIT BRAND OR COLLAB WILL EVER ASK YOU TO PAY $15 OR $25 IN SHIPPING! This is really common with those Instagram DMs from jewelry 'companies' - don't even waste your time, BLOCK THEM. 🚩 Their e-mail contains multiple font types and sizes. Our opinion is that they're copy+pasting sentences from other e-mails they find to create this whole new e-mail. We always view that as a red flag, especially for initial e-mails. 🚩 They're asking you to pay for a 'talent fee', and they guarantee that once you pay for this fee upfront - you will land the deal. AGAIN, anything that asks YOU to pay something upfront is most likely a scam. 🚩 Lastly, they're using this infamous scam template 'We @ fashionnova...' Why are they starting their e-mail with that? I've also seen 'Nike', 'Footlocker', 'Pretty Little Thing', 'Meshki' use the same exact template. Immediately block! Retweet this to spread awareness 🔀
