Hey, if you're reading this...
You've survived every, single, one of your worst days.
Those days you thought you weren't gonna make it? You made it.
Never forget that.
I like how people genuinely all agree this one was good.
Like, an unironically good animated movie kinda good.
They were both huge hypocrites.
For all of Tony's talk about keeping the world safe, what he really was afraid of was something he couldn't just, build a machine to fix.
And for all his talk of justice and morality, Steve ran back to his old life the first chance he got.
Let's talk about Captain America's hypocrisy. He scolds Tony for trying to build a shield around the world, yet Steve spends his entire life imposing his own personal code of morality on global conflicts. Tony wanted protection through technology; Steve wanted protection through his own judgment. Neither was elected. So who exactly gave Steve Rogers the authority to decide what the world should believe, tolerate, or fight for?🎬🍿
"Hard fact of life, hun. It'll catch up to you."
"I-I can see that..."
"Yeah, but the best part? You find out how many folks actually like it."
I wish everything I tried drawing for the first time came out as good as the EQG Pinkie did...
The conversation about dark games might be a funny one for me to way in on, because I don't even consider Fallout to be a "Dark" game.
Are those franchises "Dark" though?
Like, yeah, they're more violent, but are they "Dark?"
To give you an idea. I've played both Metroid Prime and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
I would look you in the eye, any day of the week, and say Paper Mario was the darker game.
I'm still surprised no one caught on that his most popular product was literally called the "Holocaster"
...."Holocast"
Like, dude...
A good Ganondorf game would be an actual exercise in sadistic game design.
Like, this would be comparable to game that lets you play as a terminal illness, where your ultimate skill is becoming contagious. That is how Ganondorf should be portrayed.
The proper response to "You can't kill him or else you're no better than him."
Never mind how that mindset is deeply narcissistic in the first place.
"Aww, did you want that? Welp, shouldn't'a left where I could get it... Hey, hey! Don't muddle the issue with 'I broke into your house!' Rules are rules!"
Wanted to use Bear Pinkie again.
There has yet to be a villain that beats Ganondorf for me.
I judge other villains using Ganondorf as a standard.
I think we're underestimating how many instances there are of a scary moment NOT being someone's gateway into horror as a kid, but instead a complete turn-off from anything that was dark or frightening in movies.
