Concerned about your ability to install @helium hotspots? Don’t be! Check out this short how-to video guide that @Aimss_ and I made showing how simple it is.
NEW tutorial: Mobile Hotspot Installation
Step-by-step guide for deploying Helium Hotspots in high-traffic commercial locations.

Hey @SenatorBennet @senatorhick @RepJoeNeguse @FCC @NTIAgov hit us up if you want to talk about real solutions to the lack of connectivity your Boulder County constituents are experiencing. We promise less handwringing than you're getting from AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.
Full bars, no service. That’s daily life in parts of Boulder County right now.

Redondo Beach dealt with the same problem on its pier until it turned its existing Wi-Fi into a second layer of coverage, now serving 2,000+ people a day. The infrastructure to fill gaps like this is often already installed.

.@SpaceX just spent $19.6B on 65 MHz of spectrum and said it will build its mobile network with small cells on rooftops instead of towers, saying explicitly, “you deploy that as you need it.”
Sound familiar?
The most valuable private company in the world looked at the macro tower model and...passed.
Their plan? Distributed radios on buildings, deployed incrementally, close to where people actually use data.
It’s an endorsement of decentralized networks by the biggest challenger to traditional telco.
Do satellites solve the universal connectivity problem? Not entirely on their own.
Satellites are are good at covering things like oceans, highways, rural dead zones, and disaster areas. But what physics will not let them do is deliver capacity indoors, where most mobile data is actually consumed. Satellite signals do not pass through buildings, and 65 MHz stretched across a continent cannot carry a city at rush hour.
Indoor connectivity has to be built from the ground up. Radio by radio, building by building, by people who are already there. It is the hardest part of wireless to replicate and the one part satellites fall short.
So to @SpaceX @Starlink @Gwynne_Shotwell, welcome to decentralized wireless infrastructure! You handle the sky and when your customers walk inside, the @helium Network is already there for a smooth handoff 🤝.

I’ll literally go to Hell and back for a stronger @helium network

I’m voting YES on HIP-149.
This is not an easy vote. It asks something from everyone: deployers accept a harder shift toward usage-based rewards tied to what mobile carriers actually pay, HNT holders accept real dilution, and Nova gets a defined runway while accepting a much higher bar for transparency and execution.
I think Helium has to make this shift: retire PoC, reward actual usage, fund execution, and put real community oversight around the supplement.
141M HNT is a serious issuance. I do not take that lightly.
But the updated HIP adds meaningful guardrails: a bounded mint, on-chain visibility, Council oversight, a pre-mint diligence window, and a path to reduce, pause, or halt if execution falls short.
My yes is not a blank check. It is a vote for utility and accountability. It is a vote for sustainability and growth.
Voting for HIP-149 is officially open.

12 year old @jaym2518 is having a great day
For anyone wondering why I, as an English speaker with limited Spanish, have been watching the @FIFAWorldCup on @peacock and not on FOX, the reasons are twofold: 1) No @AlexiLalas, and 2) gems like this clip. (Yes, I am a 12 year old boy at heart)

It comes full circle - this is *the* argument for DePIN.
@Hivemapper rewards its people for building the map.
@helium rewards people for extending wireless access.
Niantic got a $9 billion map, and we got some poké balls.
We need a serious conversation about the future—and accountability—of the AI industry. Giant corporations misleading consumers and stealing billions of dollars in free labor doesn't work. If the public builds the data, the public should share in the wealth.
In the age of AI, be human!
I'm super excited to be launching Access Point Studios with @Hollycopter_333 to deploy decentralized infrastructure.
Our first staffed @worldnetwork Orb verification site is launching next week at Great Lakes Crossing mall in Auburn Hills, Michigan, for which we are actively hiring Field Support roles: linkedin.com/jobs/view/43794…
Really looking forward to the next few months as we expand throughout MI and into new markets deploying for projects like World, @helium and others.
Excited to share that @jaym2518 and I launched Access Point Studios 🎉
As AI gets more powerful, proving you are a real person online is getting harder. We are bringing @worldnetwork verification to Michigan with in-person activations using World’s Orb.
If the original dead giveaway of @ChatGPTapp-generated content was excessive use of the Em dash, then the current dead giveaway is the word “signal” in a way that is slightly off from normal use.

State of DePIN 2025 is out now.
No fluff this year - we dig into what’s working, what clearly isn’t, and why DePIN is not dead but just getting started.
Full report is free and frankly you can’t skip out on this one if you care about the future of crypto let alone DePIN.
New mall location secured! ✅
