On the same day these people were let go, we hear that ESPN is paying Pat McAfee, the guy who has ruined College GameDay, north of $60 million a year. Why does anyone doing that job deserve to be paid that much? Who is ESPN bidding against? SMH
I get that I’m not in the demographic. Maybe I should’ve said he ruined it for me. He’s unwatchable for me. Now that I’m clear on how the $60 million works, I still think ESPN is crazy but I’m not in the business so more power to him if he can get that.
