Trump is closing strong: 1. Hire unqualified press secretary who doesn't last a week 2. Announce public execution, then walk it back 3. Conduct pre-dawn raid on opposition congresswoman over paperwork from 1995 while allowing your crooked Ambassador to Greece to resign without charges 4. Float possibility of using "Mother Of All Bombs" in your unpopular war (that you've previously declared already "won" on many occasions) 5. Cut a too-little/too late/possibly-illegal deal to import Russian diesel to offset negative effects of said war 6. Get caught secretly raising $333 million from corporations and billionaires for your White House ballroom, including companies doing major business with your administration 7. Mock a woman wearing a “Release the Epstein Files” shirt while she gets punched at your rally 8. Preemptively blame your outgoing senator for a Texas Senate seat you haven’t lost yet 9. Use a San Antonio rally, with diesel at $6.28 a gallon, to renew your demand that Roger Clemens be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame

Two years ago the reflecting pool was reflecting, the East Wing existed and was welcoming visitors to the People’s House, and the Kennedy Center was financially stable and artistically thriving. Gasoline was semi-affordable and USAID was saving human lives all over the world. Go vote. We don’t have to live like this.

The fact that the French leaked information to Trump to see if it ended up in Putins hands, which of course it did, is some serious fucking shit that shouldn't be swept under the fucking rug. Trump is a danger to this country and to everyone living in it.

The son of Michael Massaroli with a powerful message today at the 9/11 memorial in NYC: "You do my dad's legacy and the legacy of all these victims no honor by using this tragedy to spread hate," he said. "I've had to grow up and spend the past 25 years seeing people use it to hate on our Muslim brothers and sisters, to hate on people who don't look like them."

Q: On the checks, we have $40 trillion in debt. If your economic policies are working, why do you need an incentive for people to turn out to vote? TRUMP: I'm doing it as a reward for people having to put up for five years and four years of a horrible situation caused by Biden Q: You also offered tariff refund checks-- TRUMP: Not you. Not you Q: And that didn't happen TRUMP: Not you. You're the worst

A Missouri Republican candidate, Thomas Ross, allegedly came up with a completely normal campaign strategy: Plant COCAINE AND ADDERALL in his female opponent’s purse or car and then get police involved. His campaign manager went to the cops instead. The FBI wired him. He told Ross he still had “the bag and addies” and could plant them and call in an anonymous tip. Ross allegedly replied: “If you can pull it off…pull it off.” Then Ross won the GOP primary by 32 votes. Ross was federally charged Wednesday with conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and made his first appearance in federal court Tuesday. The Republican party is a shit show and only knows how to cheat.

Iranian officials said Wednesday that a U.S. strike hit a wedding party in the country's south, claiming more than 50 people were killed or wounded as fighting in the Middle East war ramps back up. A U.S. military spokesman said Central Command was aware of the reports, & that the "U.S. military never targets civilians." Sure they don't, much like the girl's school hey gang?

The disgraced former mayor of New York, Rudy (I was just tucking in my shirt) Giuliani, has threatened to sue me for defamation over an interview in which I never said his name. No one even mentioned him. I want to apologize to Rudy. Going forward I will be certain to say his name directly. Rudy, you worked with known Russian agents and their proxies to spread lies about me and my father. Their names are Andrii Derkach, Konstantin Kulyk, Andriy Telizhenko and Oleksandr Dubinsky and more. Kulyk handed you a dossier filled with disinformation. You flew to Kyiv in December 2019 to sit down with Derkach, then went on television with him to sell his bullshit tapes. Trump’s own national security adviser warned the White House that what you brought back was Russian disinformation. You kept going. Then Trump’s own Treasury Secretary, Steven Mnuchin, sanctioned Derkach in September 2020 as an active Russian agent for over a decade, for spreading the same lies you are still spitting. Four months later, on his way out the door, Mnuchin sanctioned the rest of your sources. Kulyk. Telizhenko. Dubinsky. Eleven people and four media front companies in all. Not sanctioned by me. Not by my father. By Donald Trump’s Treasury Department. And remember Vienna Rudy. In October 2019 you, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman had tickets to fly there to collect a hard drive, courtesy of Dmytro Firtash, an indicted oligarch who has spent a decade in Vienna fighting extradition to the United States. Lev and Igor were arrested at Dulles holding one-way tickets. You canceled yours the next morning. That was way before a computer repairman in Wilmington was ever a twinkle in your eye. So please, @RudyGiuliani. Please, please sue me. Discovery will be a joy for everyone.

In the middle of the vast savannah, a lioness lay motionless. Her mouth was wide open, but she was not roaring. She simply could not close her jaw 😭 A large piece of bone had become deeply lodged in the roof of her mouth, leaving her lower jaw hanging unnaturally. The bone had been there for so long that it had begun to decay, causing severe injury. The lioness could no longer eat and could barely drink. Her body was growing weaker by the day, and she could do little more than lie there in despair. In the wild, an injured animal in such a condition has very little chance of survival. There is no one to bring it food, no one to offer it water, and certainly no one to remove the object that is causing it pain day after day. But this time, the lioness encountered Anna. Anna works in wildlife conservation and was alone on the savannah when she discovered the animal. She could have simply kept her distance. Even an injured wild lion remains dangerous, and approaching one is not something that can be done casually. Yet Anna stopped. After taking the necessary precautions to ensure everyone's safety, she used a sedative to immobilize the lioness. Once the animal was safely unconscious, Anna approached and carefully removed the piece of bone lodged in her mouth. The moment may not have looked like anything extraordinary. There were no cheers and no dramatic rescue scene. There was simply one person kneeling beside a suffering creature and doing what needed to be done. Yet sometimes, it is these quiet moments that stay with us the longest. After the bone was removed, the lioness gradually woke up. She lifted her head, looked around, and then lowered it to drink some water. It was such a simple act. But it was also a sign that, after days of suffering, she could finally close her mouth and drink again. The lioness probably had no idea who the woman in front of her was. She could not have known that if Anna had driven away that day, her fate might have been very different. She only knew that the pain tormenting her had been relieved, and that her body could once again do something that seemed so ordinary: take a drink of water. Anna, meanwhile, probably did not think she had done anything extraordinary. She simply saw an animal in distress and decided not to leave it behind. Her story offers a simple reminder about compassion. We do not always have the power to change an entire situation. But sometimes, we can do something small for the suffering being right in front of us. A helping hand offered at the right moment can ease someone's pain. A person willing to stop can give another living being one more chance at life. In the wild, where survival often depends on strength and the ability to endure, Anna's decision to stop reminds us that compassion does not always need boundaries. It does not need to be repaid. Nor does it need to be remembered. Sometimes, kindness is simply seeing a living creature in pain and thinking, “I can help, so I will stop.” And for that lioness, one simple decision may have been the difference between life and death 💖

I heard a line that sums up the MAGA pretty well: Wealthy Republicans tolerate Trump’s racism because they want the tax cuts. Poor Republicans tolerate the tax cuts because they want the racism.
