Sen. Bernie Sanders is sending $250,000 to the Florida Democratic Party’s joint committee with Angie Nixon.
It's a relative pittance in the Sunshine State — but the check signals a big political shift.

I’ve never seen this happen before. Ever. And I’ve seen these each month since 2022. Perhaps someone more seasoned can tell me the last time they’ve seen this?
Russia semi-quietly trying to make something happen in Baltics, Houthis beating Saudis and controlling Bab Al Mandab, Iran contesting Hormuz. If all of these pop off at once, oil prices skyrocket, but does China look intensely at Taiwan? U.S. can’t handle 3 conflicts at once.
Yes Byron, I believe you.
What happened in Virginia is wrong for communities. This will never happen in Florida on my watch.
That’s why I will uphold Florida’s law signed by Governor DeSantis that does 3 things:
1. Protects local control. Communities have the final say.
2. Utility bills for Floridians will not go up for a data center.
3. Requires water use permits to protect Florida’s drinking water.
I will also sign a bill to add proximity protections — I don’t want one near my house or yours.
See you at the debates.
No mention of affordability… or gas prices… or housing prices… or homeowners & auto insurance rates… or literally anything else that matters.
But hey it would maybe be an okay ad for a primary!
Zelenskyy should ignore, despite the Houthi advances in Red Sea and Saudi pipeline being hit. We have no one to blame but Trump for allowing us to get to this situation of oil and gas prices.
The events unfolding w/ Iran and the Houthis is the clearest example of our need for energy independence, and not just through pumping more oil but by investing in renewable energy.
Trump has screwed us by allowing IRGC to seriously help Houthis threaten Red Sea shipping lanes.
Only possible because our President is woefully inept in anything relating to foreign policy. And, if Biden were better as well, Ukraine would be in a better position than where it’s at now.
The Kremlin sees the United States as weakened by the Iran war, offering Russia an opportunity to escalate action against American interests and allies in Europe. washingtonpost.com/national-…
Surely this will lower the cost of gas, make life more affordable, end the war in Iran, crackdown on endless government corruption, or do literally anything else to help in our day to day lives. Right?
I used to say it’s as hard as being a Knicks fan but I can’t say that anymore. Maybe as hard as being a Mets fan?
Believe it or not but supporting the abolition of police and prisons is not a popular position nor a sane one. Thank you to Wisconsin for exemplifying that.
Hell of a way for him to enrich himself with another $400k… while still in office.
On a video call tonight @GovRonDeSantis announced he's putting out and selling a new commemorative edition of his first book "Dreams from our Founding Fathers" tied to America 250. The books will be numbered & signed. There will only be 1,776 copies and will cost $250 ...
