I'm very proud to have been featured on behalf of @eastcoastfm for RTE's 'At home with' feature. Joining @tomhappens, @johncreedon @ClaireByrneLive & others I've huge respect for, I'm feeling chuffed. Not bad for a part timer. ☺️ rte.ie/entertainment/2020/06… via @RTENewsNowAt – at Kildare, Ireland
A brilliant tribute to a fantastic group of people, Golden Plec live on through their fantastic podcast with Stephen Byrne @altirishmusic and @loftysnds brilliant tribute
Irish music website @GoldenPlec , which turned 24 this month, ceased publishing at the end of 2025 to little fanfare. I take a look back at its journey, while the Irish music industry pays it its dues.

One of the best shows ever

Hey here's the Star Wars movie for May the 4th Day? You had it Revenge of the Sith on until yesterday. Disappointed kids. @ODEONcinemasIRE
It's the year 2048, Justin Bieber is the president of all North America, Europe is mostly underwater and Season 2 of Severance has finally aired (the ultimate cliffhanger for probably the best TV show in a long time) But 3 years between the two seasons 😭 @BenStiller @AppleTV
3) I'll always remember some two-bit Irish 'comedian' on the circuit constantly saying it at a gig. I sat there thinking, deaf people are such easy targets, they can't defend themselves. Who advocates for the deaf, hopefully you might.
Hey @jackblack my 14 year old son did this in honour of No 4 coming out. Pretty cool eh ❤️🐼
@Dreamworks @Universal_Irl
My talented 13 year old son entered a local schools art competition under the theme of 'Welcome/Failte'. Someone said it would be great for the airport? @DublinAirport @ShannonAirpo @belfastairport
Was great to be asked on to talk all along the Subtitling debacle with RTE and Virgin Media.
Making a Difference from 5:30pm:
@jilliangodsil talks to @jaycollinsradio, @eastcoastfm, who talks about how the loss of subtitles on TV impacted his hearing impaired parents.
He raised the issue and ended up on Liveline.

Amazing display by the 730 primary school students & staff of Scoil Bhríde, Kill, Co. Kildare forming a human St Brigid's cross. Celebrating #Brigid1500 in some style. Wow!!

I'm backing the campaign for all TV stations to have live captioning & subtitles. Deaf & hard of hearing people shouldn't be excluded from viewing TV. Can u add your name too? @IrishDeafSoc @DeafVillageIrel @CorkDeafClub @DublinDeafAssoc

Is the best T.V programme a Cartoon? 'Scavengers Reign' is original, dark and great fun. The soundtrack is perfect too. #DontGoAlone @josephbennett00 @charleshuettner
I'm on @LMFMRADIO at 230pm with @GerryKellyLL & the Late Lunch to talk about the 'Subtitling' debacle which I raised on @rteliveline this week. My folks are hard of hearing and for the last two months, they haven't had subtitles on ANY of the live news shows or the Late Late.
€4.25 for a flat white. Wow. Nearly get a pint for that. How can independent cafes charge only €3.60 for the same, while MBCC Foods Ireland aka @costacoffee Ireland charge this amount?
