No team pumping it. No devs propping up the price. No waiting around for a team to execute, ship, or tweet. The distribution is about as clean as you could ask for. The meme itself is strong AF. Anonymous Cat. Anonymous Cash. Anonymous dev. Bag stays on. The cat is infinitely memeable. Even the ticker is a meme. I don’t love pegging any thesis on @Ansem, but he’s the GOAT and can’t be ignored. Ansem is “Z.” He is “Z”cat. He’s publicly shared that he holds ZCAT, tweeted about it multiple times, and clearly likes the meme. ZCAT is paired with the strongest coin narratives of this cycle: Zcash. Zcash is dominating the timeline. More Zcash attention = more ZCAT attention. And if ZEC keeps running, ZCAT gets to run alongside the narrative. Then there’s the Zcash drip. Simply holding ZCAT gets ZEC automatically dripped into your wallet. I wouldn’t buy ZCAT solely for the yield, but it’s a dope bonus. And if ZEC ultimately does multiples from here, those drips could become significant. ZCAT has also survived what I think is the most important test for any meme: competition. It spawned 1,000 copycats and it’s still standing. At this point, the copies have arguably reinforced the original rather than derailed it. Everyone keeps trying to create the next ZCAT, which only reminds people which one came first. ZCAT has already been mentioned by the main Solana account, Raydium, Cobie and Ansem. That matters because the social infrastructure already exists. At future inflection points, people with massive reach already know the meme, understand it, and can build on the excitement. And despite all of this, almost everyone I know is still sidelined. Literally zero previous followers have messaged me about ZCAT. And when I talk to them they don't even peek under the hood. Most people don’t own it. My bet is a lot of them eventually will, just at higher prices.
