🚨🇦🇷 Lionel Messi was assessed by THREE La Masia coaches when he arrived at Barcelona as a 13-year-old in 2000, and their scouting reports offered VERY different opinions on his potential. 🔸 Coach 1: “Considering his age, he is a very complete player technically. He stands out from his teammates: vision, agility, quickness, very good dribbling and excellent shooting. Very good inside the penalty area. His only weakness is his height and lack of physical strength. Great player.” 🔸 Coach 2: “Undeniable technical quality, but his physical limitations (142 cm) prevent him from competing. Even if he grows, at 150 cm it will be very difficult for him to play at the preferred cadet level. I don't think we should sign him. Monitor his development and test him again in a couple of years.” 🔸 Coach 3: “Putting the physical differences aside, he's a miniature Maradona. I would sign him. He has the potential to go much further. We'll see how he develops.” (Source: Florent Torchut)
