Maybe better if Google also removes the name Spratly Islands as they are not islands after all- well, according to the PCA Ruling. So the label “West Philippine Sea” could be put a bit below and cover that area to the west of Palawan.🤷🏻‍♀️

That Barkat bus with drivers from hell comes from a transport company in Dhaka. And they call it, “highest quality of service.” 🫤

@MarineTraffic There are at least 4 China-flagged ships in the area of Maricaban Island, all 4 of them having MMSI 412123456.

They may all be fishing vessels, but one cannot know for sure unless they are actually identified on the ground.

Looks like there are at least 4 Chinese research vessels currently loitering in the Luzon Strait: SHIYAN 1 and TAN SUO YI HAO of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, DONG FANG HONG 3 of the Ocean University of China, and HAIYANG 6 of the China Geological Survey.

#Chinese research ship #JIAGENG is once again within #PH #EEZ. The ship has been "loitering" in the #WestPhilippineSea since May 10 and was stationary near the Reed Bank since May 13. What is she up to now? @MarineTraffic

If #JiaGeng is supposed to be headed back to port, why divert that far away from coast and transit over the Benham Rise; when it could practically traverse nearer the PH coastline northward and towards China? 🤔🤔🤔

After leaving the anchorage area in Cabugao Bay on Feb 1, #Chinese research ship #JiaGeng is now in the waters of the #Philippine Rise (#Benham Rise). @MarineTraffic xitter.cf/java_prince4/status/13…

Based on #JiaGeng's track in @MarineTraffic, the ship has made stops throughout the #Pacific to collect data for 7 up to 20 hours. The research ship stayed at the anchorage area in #Catanduanes for 3 days - how much data has it been able to gather then?

#Chinese research ship #JIAGENG seems to have operated on waters near #Taiwan on December 25. It may either be hydrographic survey or marine scientific research - but regardless - it was conducted within only 50 nautical miles from #Taiwan's coastlines.
What is this research vessel supposed to be doing near #Taiwan?
