Today marks one year since I was arrested outside of the courthouse after 13 days of protesting over the assault of Dalia Kafi by Calgary Police officer Alex Dunn.
Alex is still employed.
Dalia has since passed.
And I have a 5-day trial for 7 charges.

If any non-Indigenous folks want to practice reconciliation via generosity, donate to Indigenous folks.
Indigenous friends, post your links here. No questions asked, no need for explanation. No trauma sharing necessary.

Have you noticed the people who don’t want to help refugees because we “have our own poor” also don’t want to help our own poor?
