Principled people will always be upsetting to unprincipled people in the world of politics. Almost everyone who works in politics enters the arena wanting to be principled, but nearly all collapse under pressure. Principled people are a constant reminder of this personal failure.
State and federal governments are not going to fix healthcare, there's too many special interests and the vast majority of congress is either bought or incompetent.
We already see a lot of parallel, high quality, cash pay institutions available. The one thing missing? A true full-service hospital that accepts no government funding. With most rural hospitals being funded to the tune of 60 to 80% by Medicaid and Medicare, this would be the ultimate challenge.
With #SuccessDam getting close to spill elevation, and #TerminusDam set to start emergency water releases, seems the situation is about to get worse in Central CA.
