I’ve got a running theory about flat earth. NONE OF IT is genuine. They’re ALL PRETENDING. It’s just a big troll that people have found gets them engagement, and makes them feel superior to others. That’s it. It’s just a big desperate grab for attention.

Nope. I’m not letting you get away with pretending the shape of the earth isn’t a long established fact or is in any way controversial or subject to serious debate. The fact is YOU are disputing this fact, so the burden of proof lies with YOU, fairly and squarely, not me.

Theist: "Wait a second... So you believe that out if absolute nothingness, and without any intelligence, a perfectly ordered, logical system emerged—fine-tuned just right so that we can exist?" Atheist: 🤨 "No. Where'd you get that from?... That's a strawman. Who told you that?"

The CONCEPT of god(s) is a long-outdated (frankly, childish) attempt to understand & explain nature, the universe, and coincidence—the result of a particularly annoying aspect of human nature, our tendency to anthropomorphize EVERYTHING.

One of the singular most frustrating things that pisses me off about trying to talk to conspiracy theorists is that nothing ever advances. Not one iota. And this applies to every conspiracy without exception: aliens and UFOs, 9/11 claims, anti-vaccination and virus denial, flat Earth, chemtrails, moon-landing denial, you name it. Every single one of these has been debunked to death, yet every person you encounter runs the exact same script. This isn’t skepticism - it’s cognitive rigidity, motivated reasoning, and confirmation bias locked into a closed loop. They are not engaging in learning or critical thinking. Conspiracy addicts are displaying conspiratorial ideation, belief perseverance, and epistemic learned helplessness - endlessly repeating claims while being psychologically incapable of updating them. At some point this stops being ignorance and starts looking like a pathological resistance to reality itself. A rejection of truth and reality 🔁 an addiction to the idea the conspiracies … everywhere.

And I'm blocked... Because this conspiracy addicted doofus didn't have a retort to my pointing out the FACT that his undercover video's big scandalous "admission" of chemtrails was just a guy referring to normal jet fuel and the pollution jet engines emit.

They say cancer is “already cured for the rich.” That’s a lie. Steve Jobs, one of the richest men alive, had early-diagnosed, more treatable pancreatic cancer. If a secret “elite cure” existed, he’d have had it. Instead, he delayed proper treatment, chasing diets and acupuncture. By the time he returned to actual medicine, precious time was lost and he died needlessly. He’s proof: no secret cure, only science. And when people ask why I rail so hard against anti-science lies, it’s because these conspiracies don’t just mislead - they kill. Bad info costs lives, and denying science holds humanity back. I push back because we all deserve the truth - and a chance to live.

Because a star exploded, resulting in a cloud shape that vaguely resembles an eye, God exists? What exactly is so completely obvious here to you? Does a fluffy cloud on a partly cloudy day that looks roughly like a giraffe for a moment mean the same thing? 🤨

Belief in a flat Earth is the ultimate mind trap - a blind faith you've swallowed hook, line, and sinker from your echo-chamber indoctrination, starting with those shady YouTube rabbit holes you dove into during your late-night paranoia sessions in your mom's basement, amplified by fake "experts" peddling poorly edited CGI "debunk" videos that wouldn't fool a toddler, and reinforced by a high school dropout's grasp of basic geometry you never bothered to question because, let's face it, actual math scares you more than the edge of your imaginary disc. Flat Earth fanatics like you cling to this nonsense with a defensive rigidity that borders on cultish hysteria, lashing out at anyone who dares point out the glaring inconsistencies in your so-called "observations," like how ships disappear hull-first over the horizon proving curvature every single time, or why satellites - those pesky things orbiting our very real globe - beam down your precious GPS signals without fail, keeping your flat Earth conference Uber from driving off the "edge." You rant about childhood indoctrination? Pot, meet kettle: you were probably fine until some algorithm fed you one too many "what they don't want you to know" thumbnails, turning your brain into a mushy pancake of denial. As a supposed "truth-seeker" hiding behind a Christian ministry facade, you tie this delusion to a twisted misreading of ancient biblical texts, imagining a divine pizza under a glass dome because facing the vast, humbling cosmos of God's actual creation - a spinning, orbiting sphere in an infinite universe - shatters your fragile, narcissistic ego that demands the world revolve around you (ironically, it doesn't). You cherry-pick verses about a "firmament" while ignoring the poetry and context, all to prop up your stationary plane fantasy, as if the Creator of quantum physics and black holes couldn't handle a round planet. Pathetic - it's not faith; it's fanfiction for the scientifically illiterate. Meanwhile, you decry trust in verifiable science, global institutions, and even the moon landings (which, spoiler: happened, with mountains of evidence you dismiss as "media myths") as the real deception enabling large-scale lies. Oh, the irony! In an age of decentralized information where anyone with a smartphone can verify Earth's curve via high-altitude balloons, live ISS feeds, or simple experiments like Eratosthenes' sticks that proved sphericity 2,300 years ago, you gobble up unvetted memes and grifter podcasts like they're gospel. Your "unchallenged physics education" gripe? That's you projecting your own willful ignorance - physics classes teach testable facts, not the fever-dream "logic" of flat horizons (which, duh, look flat locally on a massive sphere) or motionless reality (ever felt centrifugal force? No? That's because it's balanced, genius). Wake up, globe-denier: your blind religious faith in something as pathetic as flat Earth isn't enlightenment; it's a self-imposed prison of stupidity, funded by merch sales from charlatans who laugh all the way to the bank while you rage against "indoctrination." The real mind trap is yours, buddy - trapped in a dome of delusion, defensively rigid against the overwhelming, observable truth that Earth is round, space is real, and your conspiracy is as flat as your critical thinking skills.

The mind trap of the globe fanatic The globe fanatic starts off just as we all do. As young children simply believing what the people we trust tell us. We all accepted heliocentric theory as fact. Not because we understood the equations for gravity, or we conceptualised in our minds how the pull of gravity of the sun along with the mysterious pre existing velocity of the earth, causes a clockwork like precision of an annual orbit. We just accepted it by faith. We believe simply because someone told us ‘that is how it is’ when we were children. Blind faith is the foundation of the our perceived reality for the early years of our life. When there is a concept not easily proven - like the earth is a planet, faith makes the imagination real in the mind of the person believing. This is how the perceived ‘reality’ of the globe starts off and remains a true ‘reality’ for the next 10 years or so in everyones minds, before any ‘proofs’ are given in an attempt to verify the globe. The faith is strengthened by the collective nature of the imagination. Everyone believes it. Not one of our peers even questioned any of the absurdities when it was first presented. By the time any of us had reached our first physics class, the ‘Truth’ of the globe had been established and reified countless times in movies, children’s TV shows and throughout day to day language. The media believes the globe, as the news reporter discusses ‘global economics’, the Pastor at church believes the globe, as he talks about the ‘global missions fund’. Everyone believes in the globe. Myths engrained in the cultural fabric like the moon landings, solidify the imagined globe without any real evidence. It was on TV and the media said it was happening, so it must be true. The ISS makes a regular appearance on the various forms of media, always showing the edge of a curving planet earth by cleverly positioned wide angle fish eye lenses. Therefore, we are all true believers by the time we get to our first physics class. It is here that one set of ‘facts’, one possible explanation is given for the world around us. The one we already believe in. Teachers teach the curriculum with a dogma like attitude of ‘this is how it is’, and ‘this is what we know to be true’. Every physics textbook assumes the theory of the universe is the truth. Newton’s law of gravitation is taught as fact since it supports the pre existing belief of the globe earth. Kepler’s Laws of Planetary Motion are taught without questioning the validity of heliocentric theory. For those who study high school physics, the belief in the globe progresses to become an unquestionable scientific fact. After this initial educational period, most people go off to their prospective careers, and the shape of the earth is a non-issue. However, there is a small contingent of true believers who can’t allow their worldview to be challenged. The globe fanatic. It deeply offends them, that there could be any other attempt to explain the world around them, other than the one they have always believed. Therefore they tirelessly defend the globe, mocking and ridiculing anyone who dares to challenge their faith. They know the arguments against it are actually quite logical and that without their intervention, many people looking at the facts with common sense will abandon their childhood beliefs of the globe, like a child giving up on Santa Clause. They feel compelled to address every single meme, every single post that is contrary to their faith in the globe. The troubling flatness of the world is explained away by the globe fanatic by mental gymnastics, like saying the ball is so big, it just looks flat, but it is really curved. Amazing concepts are propagated by senior globe fanatics in order to debunk the lack of apparent curvature, like ‘level is curved’ Proofs are declared using highly erroneous methods, and methodologies such as plumb lines through visual surveying. The centrifugal force resulting from the earth’s alleged spin is conveniently so small that it can’t be felt, or directly measured. But that is ok. The globe fanatic’s proof is not in real world experience, but in mathematical and hypothetical ‘realities’. Typically, these ‘globe fanatics’ will have the following traits. 1. Trust in the narrative - They can’t comprehend that any form of deception on such a large scale could be possible. The Government is by and large, to be trusted. 2. Trust the science - the idea that ‘science’ could be hijacked by philosophical ideologies, and swayed by financial incentives and political machinations is something that can’t be comprehended by the globe fanatic 3. Unable to entertain other possibilities. By default, every challenge to their worldview is wrong. They refuse to let their guard down to even consider they could be wrong in any way. As a result of the deeply rooted globe belief, reenforced by the perfect indoctrination through biased education, the globe fanatic will only ever see the world opposite to what it truly is. Instead of seeing flat horizons, globe fanatics see them as curved. Instead of looking at the vast expanse of a never ending plane from high altitude photography, globe fanatics choose to believe the photos with fish eye distortion that shows the more pleasing curved earth. Instead of accepting the world is motionless, the globe fanatic has every possible theory to grab onto, in order to believe the world is moving at incomprehensible speeds. Globe Fanatics are victims to the lie. But because they never loved the truth, or searched the truth, they will remain in a strong delusion. Their lot in life is to be in a place of frustration as they watch more and more people leave globe deception and they are helpless and powerless to stop it. The tide is turning. There is a new generation of which some are growing up having had their parents expose the lie of the globe to them. Alternative views are more accessible to the average person now, than the generations prior the internet. In the 80’s everyone read the same newspapers, watched the same news on television, watched the same few movies at the cinema and the same programs on television. Now, information has become decentralised, with literally millions of different content providers over vast numbers of different platforms. This weakens the collective narrative, and allows more and more people to escape the mind matrix imposed on the prior generations. The truth of the earth being a stationary, topographical plane created by the Most High God is being revealed to people all over the world….except for the globe fanatic - trapped in the prison of their minds. #flatearth #SearchTheTruth
