It’s been a few hours since I watched this live and I cannot stop thinking about how many hours of practice Mullins parents sat through over so many years, all leading up to him making that shot 🙌🏼🙌🏼 unreal.

Today my daughter lost her championship basketball game today by one point in TRIPLE OT. We all feel for Michael today, but Martin is a tremendous example of resilience. 🙌🏼#LAMarathon
NEW: American Nathan Martin wins the closest Los Angeles Marathon in race history, beating Kenya’s Michael Kimani Kamau by just 00.01 seconds.
Martin was seen chasing down Kamau at the end of the race.
“I made an actual move five miles out… when I saw no one else was picking up the pace. I decided I needed to push,” the 36-year-old said.
“At a mile and a half to go, I could see the leader and with 800 meters to go, I was thinking, ‘I’m catching him.’”
Martin finished the race with a time of 2 hours, 11 minutes, 16.50 seconds.

One of the only things standing in Pacific Palisades is Rick Caruso’s mall
The symbolism is profound
This whole thread is devastating. My heart goes out to everyone in our city. Please stay vigilant, stay safe.
On the ground for the #palisadesfire in Pacific Palisades.
The fire has erupted to 770+ acres. Winds are still strong.
My elderly dad lives less than a mile from here. These are my favorite mountains to run in. Always gutting reporting on my home burning.

Join me in praying for the brave firefighters sacrificing so much to save our houses and our town. Jesus protect the lives of those battling the flames and the lives of those who couldn’t evacuate. #PalisadesFire

Yesterday a video went viral on TikTok when a woman shared the inside of her car after it caught on fire
Including her Stanley cup - still in tact and with ice in it!!!
The president of Stanley stitched the video in < 24 hours offering to replace her cup…..and her car.
This company will now get likely 1B earned media impressions and positive brand awareness + knowledge of the quality of their product through this one quick response and 30 second video.
1. Listen to your social team
2. Moved fast
3. Care about your audience
Great marketing move, Stanley!!!
Do better @GavinNewsom. In what world would a good person deny hearing aids to KIDS. Disappointed is the nicest word that comes to mind.
Disappointed that @GavinNewsom, who himself struggled with learning disabilities as a child, vetoed a bill requiring insurers to cover hearing aids for children under 21.
This is a huge setback for innocent kids who start life behind the 8-ball. sacbee.com/opinion/article27…
