Extraordinary courage from Ahmed El Ahmad, a Muslim, 43-year-old father of two, who bravely risked his life to save his neighbors celebrating Hanukkah.
Praying for his full & speedy recovery.
And so deeply inspired by his example.

“Zara believed that a woman should be able to walk home.”
Please, take the time to read every word of this tribute to Zara Aleena by her family. I’m not sure I’ve read anything quite like it before.

“She walked everywhere. She put her party shoes in a bag and donned her trainers. She walked. Zara believed that a woman should be able to walk home…She was in the heart of her community, ten minutes from home.
'We all need to be talking about what happened to OUR ZARA”

I just typed 'home' into my WhatsApp search bar and read through the thousands of times I've texted friends and family 'I'm home' and the thousands of times they've texted me & all the times we've checked on each other 'did you get home ok?' because that's our normal as women😔💔

My sweet mom died tonight. My heart hurts. I know that with everything going on no one will see this. But still, I feel the need to put it out to the universe that my mom was a deeply kind and good person. She deserved so much better than this world gave her.

This is utterly scandalous. I have read many cases of extremely vulnerable individuals - elderly, without medication etc. yet seats are being left empty due to an incompetent system. This is negligence @UKinBangladesh @RCDicksonUK @foreignoffice

Mother received email today confirming seat on tomorrow’s flight, yet she returned on earlier flight in Apr. You mention seats being left empty but 1) the system to administer those who have already returned is calamitous, 2) you are sending comms with less than 12h notice. 1/3

Hi there, am not sure how much you are aware of what's going on behind the scene of how flights are being organised. It's a total disaster!! If you look at the social media you will see so many people with so many concerns. By now, the issues should have been resolved!!
