okay, this is clever
To clarify some matters regarding rare pictures a little bit:
Photographers/stylists/production team etc. post their work not only on social media, but also on their own websites (as a some kind of portfolio). Also, they are often signed to creative agencies that post their portfolio too. What's more, some photographers share their photoshoots for creative image licensing websites. In many cases these sites are open access or at least show small previews.
From time to time, I search on such websites because sometimes you can find there a photoshoot pic that hasn't been posted on social media or a better-quality version of an already-known pic.
The pic of RosalΓa in a yellow dress that I posted yesterday was found that way, it was not AI generated. Same to other things that I posted in the past from such sources. Proof in the screenshots below π

Palantir's merch feels like the endpoint in streetwear's evolution, which started with young kids in urban areas βΒ mostly ethnic minorities from low-income families βΒ creating their own style from the ground up. Over time, that aesthetic was co-opted by luxury brands seeking "authenticity." And now, by a surveillance company seeking cultural capital.
Streetwear used to be an aesthetic defined by the ground-up by people were disempowered in political and economic life, but engaged in actual street culture. Now it's an aesthetic dictated from the top down by giant corporations with no conenction to such cultures. And used by political and economic elites who want to appear as outsiders.
