The issue is, we need to stop speaking just in terms of box office. Studios shouldn’t be able to just kill finished movies for a tax write off. The fact that this movie is seeing the light of day is incredible

Off topic but I always thought it was funny how MK8 made antigravity out to be a big new feature when other games like CTR Nitro Kart and Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing already kinda did that without any fanfare

They're also removing this from the context it was made in. Yeah, during the 2010s, Amy wasn't seen as "Sonic's adventures female friend." She wasn't even considered a main character at the time. And I hate that this person is removing it from that just to make Ian look bad.

Honestly, it just means the Zod fight in MoS would've been better received if Zod pulled an Omniman and threw Superman into buildings, have Superman be desperate trying to get Zod out of Metropolis while trying to save people when he can, only for Zod to counter him

Okay I never said mario would. I don't think you understood my point. My point is that sonic can compete tge same way pepsi still compete. Continuing growth in different audiences and markets. Growing bigger to the point its market share is a threat

Yeah, that argument doesn't really hold up when you think about it for 5 seconds. In fact, Ian Flynn perfectly sums it up better than I can on why Chris Thorndyke is such a poorly written character & why his motives in the Season 2 Finale is full of holes.
