How many branches are necessary to have something incredible? @jamixir has hundreds. @polkadot JAM is about to shine bright.

Note: our main repo is still private during the JAM Prize phase, but we plan to open-source as soon as we’re allowed. Follow here for more: github.com/jamixir More news soon — thanks for following along. 🙏 6/6

• DOOM is close 🎮: we’re a few steps away from running DOOM through our own node. It’s not just a meme — it’s a great end-to-end integration test for the full pipeline (execution + state transitions + networking). 4/

• M2 in progress 🔧: most of the JAM networking layer is in place. We can already produce blocks and propagate them across network (6 nodes). This is a key step from “single-node prototype” to “nodes actually speaking JAM to each other” — the foundation for real distributed test

• Performance jump 🚀 (thanks to @luke_fishman): we’re now ~100× faster than our first round and have climbed in the rankings. There’s still headroom vs lower-level implementations (Rust/Go), but we’re “good enough” for this phase — we’ll revisit major perf work closer to M3 2/

It’s been a while since our last update. That doesn’t mean we slowed down. Quite the opposite: the last two months have been intense, and we’ve made solid progress on the @jamixir node. Highlights: • Milestone 1 ✅ completed and submitted for JAM Prize payment. 1/

We at @jamixir were able to connect to Telemetry server and send some events. Pretty cool! Thanks for this!

The first DEX with: •idiot-proof UX •full CEX feature set •real decentralization •performance under stress …wins. Tip: only @Polkadot JAM can handle such a product

We're living through an unique moment in Web3 history 📚 @gavofyork's 14 years of (practical) blockchain wisdom "REFINED" into the graypaper.com/, now being interpreted by >30 teams simultaneously. No central authority, just pure decentralised innovation at scale. Future historians will study this moment 🏛️ An implementation of the true Web3 philosophy ❤️ Lets go testnet 🔥🤠 @polkadot @polkadot @polkaworld_org @jamzig_dev @luke_fishman @jam_brains @0xjunha @pyJAMazTech @jamixir @javajam_io @colorfulnotion and others
Already tinkering with it. Left side GrayMatter and right side JamZig 🤝 Block hash ✅ Initial state root ✅ Posterior state root⏳ (Hint: this is very good for @Polkadot JAM)

This video brings a lot of insights for the @polkadot JAM "off-chain" parts, work package building, data imports, etc. Also helps to understand all components of corevm and how to run on top of it. Worth watching youtu.be/kWkytppv8Ns?si=wXHb…
