Brentford fans are really letting themselves down. Got above their station after a few good results. Didnt deserve anything from yesterday even when 11v11
If Bees lose to a decent side then fair enough but that away side today was embarrassing.

Another example. Fans of smaller sides can’t accept a loss anymore. Didn’t think Brentford were especially good yesterday and barely created anything much even with 11. Have got used to winning against the big boys and, well, sometimes you get beat
Football is rarely fair but the PL is at a major crossroads where we now know it literally isn't fair for some teams. And that doesn't help with games like today where you begin to question just how "fair" it actually is. Worst Liverpool side I've seen, hanging on 12v9

Why is this the reactor of any Premier League fan when they lose to a bigger side. Shameless
We finish with 9 men, the level of favouring a ‘big named’ side in evidence. Brooks a shocker of a referee. PL will be happy Liverpool get the win.

Been our best player this season. Quietly very good from the start again today. Winner doesn't happen without him, not sure anyone else on the pitch at the time plays that pass

Must have watched a different game. We weren't great but we had really good spells before they scored. Still have to battle and turn it around even if they're a man down. Should've shut up shop but I'm fine with going for a third
Abhorrent performance. Worst of the season by a mile.

I think Iraola basically meant that Frimpong and Szoboszlai will be missing for a little bit ie 'some time', rather than suggesting they are out for a significant period

How frustrating is that. Brentford haven't needed to be especially good and are beating us without much trouble. Not good enough

Kerkez is our weakest link constantly. Makes poor decisions in defence and on the ball he's utterly appalling

Started well here, but Barcola can't be missing that. Feels like it'll come back to bite us

Why does Kerkez always start a run and then stop as the ball is being played

Full-back to full-back! Haven't seen that for a while...

You'd like to think this is exactly what Barcola and Wirtz need in terms of a confidence boost, but we've seen this before in the Champions League with Wirtz. Needs to follow it up Saturday

Brilliant news. Twice the player if Koumas and then some
Jayden Danns is part of the #LFC squad travelling to Linz to play LASK tomorrow night.

Maresca/Haaland should read the room a little bit more in my opinion. A good win obviously, but it is likely to mean nothing and they know it

Softest sending off I've seen in a long time that. It's probably a booking, but it's unbelievable to be sent off for that. Must've had two fouls all game, neither of them especially bad

Again, great day for him, but starting Koumas was a mistake here for me. Get Rio on and shift either Barcola or Munoz through the middle, maybe Barcola as Munoz is getting some joy out of O’Reilly

Wirtz and Barcola really need to step up here. No surprise that they haven't based on what we've seen from both in a Liverpool shirt so far

Big day for Koumas and good luck to him, but it’s also a damning indictment on Liverpool’s recruitment over the past 18 months that he’s starting today

If one of them was going to be missing I’m pleased it’s Szoboszlai and not Mac Allister. I think Liverpool are a better team without Szoboszlai
