Almost forgot about this account... This recently published case report in @IJOA_Journal describes how we managed lumbar epidural analgesia in a patient with a low thoracic type I extradural meningeal cyst. doi.org/10.1016/j.ijoa.2024.…

Christmas in June?! 😍 A huge move for the continued expansion of the game in North America. I now know where part of my R1 salary will be going…
Lionel Messi will clarify the reasons and details of his decision to join Inter Miami in the next hours. 🇦🇷🇺🇸 #MLS Deal will be valid with immediate effect as Jorge Messi is planning to travel to Miami later tonight.

Celebrated med school acceptance with a half, and today celebrated residency match with a full! Thank you to all the BMO marathon volunteers and supporters - I can’t tell you how much your energy carried me. Such a fun atmosphere out there!

Looking after my friend’s dog, Nova, over the holidays might just be the best gift I have ever received. Happy Holidays everyone - hope you are all safe and warm with loved ones!

At a loss for words. What a privilege that was to watch. As someone who grew up admiring Messi, I am so happy he finally got the trophy that will cement his legacy as the greatest of all time. Watching him has brought me incredible joy over the years. #Messi𓃵

Highly recommend the World Corrupt podcast series, especially if you’re like me and struggling to reconcile your love for ⚽️ and the World Cup with the human rights issues surrounding the host nation. Education is an important first step! podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcas…
A day late, but genuinely so proud of @CanadaSoccerEN. We out played the World’s second ranked team on the biggest stage. It was also incredible to see a Canadian pub packed at 11AM on a Wednesday to support the lads. 🇨🇦

Attempting to measure respiratory variations of transvalvular flow for a patient with a moderate sized pericardial effusion - so cool to assess tamponade physiology in real-time. Have learned an incredible amount on my @ubcimpocus elective - can't recommend it enough!

Chain Lakes Loop, Washington. Feeling ready for the last 4 weeks of pre-CaRMS electives!
There’s no one I admire more than my mom. She’s volunteered at the Penticton Regional Hospital gift shop for 15 years despite her full-time job. Today, we worked together in the same building for the first time 🤗

Post-call day in October?! Warm enough for a bike AND swim. Attempting to suppress the stress of CaRMS opening today 🫣

What started out as a small Summer Student Research Project with Dr Zoë Brown has turned into so much more. Excited for the change our resident wellness research is already inspiring. Thank you to Nick Smith for doing an amazing job representing us at #CPAS2022! @PART_BCCH

I can’t recommend an ICU elective as a medical student enough. I have learned as much about open communication, patient advocacy, and empathy as I have expanded my medical knowledge. It has changed my perspective on medicine and how we best serve our patients for the better!

A couple days away to disconnect and commemorate a close friend was the perfect end to holidays. Feeling recharged and ready to tackle 4th year!
