Abdul El-Sayed gives a BRILLIANT response to a guy asking him is he disavows the Muslim Brotherhood (he disavows them).
Why doesn't every Christian candidate get asked if they disavow the Proud Boys, or the KKK, or other Christian Nationalist terrorists?

As Denver is about to elect DSA-aligned Democrat @MelatKirosCO to the U.S. House, I asked Colorado Sen. @MichaelBennet what he thinks about @RahmEmanuel and others insisting that DSA-aligned Dems should be effectively thrown out of the Democratic Party.

We need to regulate AI for all of the existential threats it poses to our climate, economy, and democracy, but we cannot expect the very people who got us into this mess to self-regulate their way out.
Congress needs to act now and guard against ANY corporate influence.
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so.
Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training.

We cannot reckon with corruption in our government without recognizing how that corruption has seeped into our own party.
We need to get money out of politics and Democrats should be leading the way by disavowing donations from corporations and special interests directly responsible for the crises we face today.
We won our primary here in Denver with 13 points without taking a dime of it. If we get back to our roots of organizing the everyday people of our districts, we won’t just win, we’ll earn back their trust.
Then we can finally get to the common sense work of passing wildly popular legislation like Medicare for All, a data center moratorium, and an end to our tax dollars funding genocidal wars.
There’s far too much work to do for the working families of this country and they deserve leaders who are unbought and unafraid to stand up for them against the corporations and special interests that got us into this mess in the first place.
A record number of Americans believe there is widespread corruption in the U.S. government, reaching the highest level of distrust in two decades, according to a new Gallup poll. wapo.st/4xyBgmd

Each city presented strong bids to host an inspiring celebration of our party’s future nominee and a critical step on our path to retaking the White House.
We look forward to continuing to work with them as the DNC makes a final selection over the coming months.
We are very excited Denver is a finalist in hosting the 2028 Democratic National Committee. Let's take it home!

Again, @MelatKirosCO is our nominee and the @coloradodems are excited to support her.
We look forward to working with Melat to bring people together around our shared values to get things done for Colorado when she’s elected to Congress.
CO-1 candidate Shimon Blau once slammed backers of universal healthcare as “utterly stupid, called “Barack Hussein Obama” the “worst President ever,” and opposed Muslim refugees.
As Blau now courts liberal voters in Denver, he says his views have changed. 9news.com/article/news/polit…

Hunter Biden: “I look at Zohran Mamdani and I go: there’s a leader. He made promises and you know what he did? He kept them. He’s lowering rent, he’s building co-op grocery stores, pre-kindergarten. That’s all people care about. He’s really, really good”

I am officially nominating Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) for the Nobel Peace Prize.
No President in History has ended the same war so many times.
Our Dear Leader has ended the war with Iran at least 38 times by CNN’s count.
No President has ever done this before.
And he is nowhere near finished ending it.
It’s a record worthy of the Nobel committee’s recognition. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
I want to express my gratitude to @RepDianaDeGette . She has served Denver and Colorado with integrity for decades, and the party has always had her full support. Personally, I’m grateful for her kindness and for being there for me and my husband when we needed it most.
Denver Democratic voters showed up big last night. @MelatKirosCO is our nominee and she has our full support heading into November. Her campaign energized voters and brought new voices into the party. We welcome that energy. Now we organize and win together.
He's right. This isn't a joke and every American does need to take this 2026 election very seriously. This isn't like any midterm election in our lives. This will decide the direction of the country. Let's make sure this man is no longer speaker as of January 2027.
Mike Johnson: "This is not a joke. We are in a fight right now to save the republic and every American needs to take this seriously. You need to wake up. This upcoming midterm is not the midterm elections of years ago. This is gonna decide the direction of the country. Are we gonna maintain our status as a constitutional republic on our 250th anniversary?"

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.
