Started to teach summer course today! Haven't done that for almost two months! Quite unused.
A typhoon is coming. The final session of Latin Prose Composition is canceled.
Seen by my student in a department store!
Dinner with a lot of people, Prof Bartsch, her mom, Br Koss, Dr Deeney, Kiki, Yvonne, Wendy, David, Annie, Luna, Eddy, and a Dwy(?).
Ambient farewell party from colleagues in Fuxing. Su the vege restaurant in Beitou is good, though a bit expensive.
I never know that I can compare the style and language of two Latin writers! Dr. Bartsch really pushes me to an unbelievable limit.
Today is the final day, but I don't want to study at all! The papers are too difficult and voluminous.
Stopped at the entrance because they didn't believe I am the new teacher! Lucky to meet Ms Tsai, who proved that I am her new colleague.
Last administrative task done. It's about time to wave goodbye at Fu Xing and move on to Taipei First Girls.
1st exam of Culture & Ideology of Augustan Age. Difficult for me who has limited knowledge. The exam lasted 2.5 hrs, but I finished in 1.
I want to check my OLD replacement copy to see if it has every page. But it is such a daunting work. Maybe I'll just leave it there.
I must be out of my mind to print the Barton paper. I wasted extra 36 pieces just to print 25 pages. Can't stand this pdf technology at all.
I don't like the way Dr. Bartsch conducts the course. None of us have the required background on Augustus. Student report is a bad idea.
Yinqi's concert on Beethoven's Missa Solemnis and Mendelssohn's Psalm 115 finished. Though I didn't practice much, I did well, I think.
My study in the UK have to be postponed due to my new job.
I passed the test, teaching demonstration and interview, and became a teacher in one of the best high schools in Taiwan.
Lord Jesus! I got international student scholarship from King's. So surprised.
Encouraged by a colleague, I tried another prestigious school, though I know I am destined to fail for the same discriminating reason.
