The sheer number of post Covid patients I’m seeing in the ED with lingering symptoms is quite sobering. Maybe 1/4 of my patients on my last shift, many with chest pain and shortness of breath for weeks since the big surge. Not much we can do to help either 😔

Public records released today show the belongings that the city of SF took from homeless people during sweeps in 2021. Most stuff they throw out immediately, but some they "bag & tag" before disposal. Each bag is full of medicine, survival supplies, family heirlooms, etc.
