Rudimentary mod. Basically the colors are done via shaders. Found the files for green and changed them around. CSS should be simple as a image file for changes. Big thanks @WistfulHopes and @jam1garner for getting me setup #rivals2

Been a while since I missed such a big feature getting merged until it released, wow fantastic

Wait some of you actually don't like Rivals 2? This game already feels great, I might already be enjoying it more than Rivals 1... One or two characters have stiff movement but aside from that I have no complaints...

Reversing the game has been interesting too, have had some interesting findings here and there (no leaks from me though, would spoil the fun)

The binrw crate by @jam1garner has been an absolute pleasure to use! It really cleaned up by code and in some sense made my types now a direct documentation of the parsing structure - easier to read and more accurate than the many documents I was referencing.

"Rivals 2 is just like PM, it's lost what made it Rivals" just like PM? don't threaten me with a good time

It's all "C/C++ isn't a language" until it's time to claim everything is written in C

This year was probably the least involved with the modding scene I've been in a while. Loop me in, anyone want to share their favorite mods and whatnot they've made this year?

Seeing @danfornace backed the Ouya, Mighty No 9 and a Brawl documentary is my favorite thing I learned today. Very on-brand

From the Rivals 2 AMA: "There are some areas that we are already building with workshop in mind like how our character logic is siloed." Love to see it!! this was one of the biggest things I emphasized when I got consulted on the topic. Very small but very promising ♥️♥️

also thanks again to @fudgepop01 for making that connection happen, was fun to give my thoughts and I can't wait to see how the game turns out, both internals and gameplay

Honestly I was not much of a workshop user at all, and even less so one to make workshop content (unless research on how to mod-in support in the switch port count), I just really enjoy the technical decisions that need to be made for making modding easier Love the Rivals team
