DREAM AFTER DREAM feels like a little piece of a world built from imagination, memories and the kind of dreams we never really want to wake up from. One dream becomes the beginning of another and we discover that the journey itself can be just as meaningful as the destination.
somewhere between the endless stretch of grass and the towering trees, they decided to run each at their own pace with their own little expressions of excitement while turning an otherwise quiet field into a scene filled with movement, laughter and the kind of happiness that never needs a reason to exist.
They gathered inside an old van, leaning toward one another, finding their places between the seats and falling into place beside the people they have grown familiar with. A small picture held inside a white frame, preserving six figures standing side by side with their backs turned toward the camera and their eyes set on the open sea.
Gathered in front of a vintage van beneath a sky filled with clouds, they carrying nothing more than their favorite outfits, from the patterned knit vest and relaxed denim to the oversized sweaters, layered shirts and little accessories that give each person their own character.
With only a soft, warm light tracing the contours of his face, his expression is gentle and composed while his lips resting in the faintest smile as a few strands of dark hair fall across his forehead. The loose neckline of his sweater reveals the simple layers underneath while the thin necklace resting against his skin.
Surrounded by delicate white blossoms and the soft textures of the countryside, his oversized striped sweater falls loosely around his shoulders, the sleeves almost swallowing his hands as he carefully holds the little stems. Then, he lifts his gaze toward the camera while revealing that bright and unguarded smile.
With one finger gently reaching toward the flowers, his gaze follows the delicate stems growing through the grass as his head is tilted downward, his dark hair falling naturally across his forehead. He straightens up and looks directly toward the camera with the brightest smile.
Showing a view of the long pathway stretching ahead, the trees standing quietly on either side and the water glistening in the distance while a hand reaches into the frame. Then, the camera catches some people approaching, smiling and making their way toward the lens as watching them goof around in spontaneous way.
