Have just been told that due to the fact that the music industry was in the literal fucking gutter for 2 years & we were granted SEISS grants throughout the pandemic, me & my partner (a music producer) will not even be humoured by some mortgage lenders due to taking the grants.

Not loans. Grants. That helped us manage to keep a roof over our heads, pay our bills, keep our dog fed & keep our music businesses running, yet people living with their parents doing 0 work on furlough will be totally fine to get a mortgage? Can someone make this make sense?

Fully watched my boyfriend accidentally offload a scab into a bowl of fresh guacamole, pretend it didn't happen and then make me a burrito. Russian roulette on who's burrito had the scab. I'm such a lucky girl.
