unfortunately the only way to fix this and resist these evil conglomerates is, as hw herself has said, supporting local acts at club shows/small venues, not panic buying tickets for big name acts that tour here, and rejecting the broken system - which most people will never do

it is easier said than done for most people (myself included), when listening to and discovering music has become homogenised, production values make bigger artists more appealing, many are locked in as festival exclusives and everyone runs on a steady diet of fomo + nostalgia🤷🏽‍♂️
