If you like my tweets, you might like my new book PRINCESS UNLIMITED.
If you hate my tweets, you might like a book by a totally different Jacob Sager Weinstein.
Both books can be found here:

Is there a word that means the opposite of "milkshake duck"? Where somebody seems pretty great, and then more facts emerge and you learn they're even better than you thought? I propose we call this "dollypartoning."

I still think Mastodon is the best alternative, because it sidesteps the problem of some random billionaire owning the means of communication. But a lot of the people I follow seem to be switching to Bluesky. So I've set up a profile there:

I'm leaving my account up so that whenever Elon Musk sells it to somebody who is not a racist anti-semite, I can reactivate it. Until then: with sadness, I'm done posting here.
Look for me on Mastodon and Bluesky.

I've had to switch it from "Allow message requests only from Verified users" three times so far

I've got a new social media policy. I close the browser window the instant I encounter something that makes me angry (or that is INTENDED to make me angry). It's changed my relationship with a number of websites, but especially Twitter. I highly encourage you to try it.
I'm not saying I'm Taylor Swift.
But my name is Jacob SW.
In the bible, Jacob gave his son a coat of many colors, making him history's first tailor.
jacob SW= Tailor SW[ift].
Hmm... Interesting.
People should probably buy my books just in case.

Wait a minute. "Jacob Sager Weinstein" is an anagram for "I, banjo singer's wee act".
It's looking more and more like every one of my books is secretly written by Taylor Swift.

I love @darshanakhiani’s last picture book. Can’t wait to read this one!
Happy book birthday to @darshanakhiani's I AM AN AMERICAN, gorgeously illustrated by @LauraFreemanArt - a joyous celebration of all the people and places and cultures that make up our great country - don't miss this important book!
Today is historic... because it's the first time I've had two books published simultaneously.
BE HAPPIER NOW and LIVE SMARTER NOW each have 100 simple steps you can take to make your life better. And you don't have to fraudulently divert $130,000 in campaign funds to buy them!
I encourage you to get them at your local bricks-and-mortar store. But if you don't have a local store, don't worry. You don't have to report to a New York State courtroom. Just ask your disgraced personal attorney to click on this link: us.macmillan.com/books/97812…

For anybody who has ever asked "How long does a picture book take?":
MARCH 2020: My agent suggests I think about a chess-themed picture book. I think that's a great idea and start mulling it over.
JULY 2020: I finish the first draft and share it with my critique group.
That's true of all publishing, but particularly with picture books. Artists can be booked years in advance -- especially one as dazzlingly brilliant as @victongai.
