That’s a Passer Rating of 0.
Early in the 2nd quarter, Penix has thrown 3 INT’s, and probably should’ve thrown 2 more, but those were dropped.
This is my frustration with the QB running on the sideline rules,
If Hurts' toe wasn't on the sideline, he'd be able to continue to move up field and get the 1st down.
Since the toe was on the sideline, it's a 15 yard penalty.
Justin Herbert’s passer rating Vs the Raiders was 59.5.
However there were a high number of drops in this game. So I calculated what his stats would be if every pass that hit his receivers hands was caught instead.
If there were no drops, his passer rating would’ve been 105.5
While still just 6 quarters into the season, one notable change with the Bills is that they're passing downfield more than last season.
Perhaps Joe Brady being head coach is giving him more confidence to open up the playbook even more than he did when he was just OC.
Will this end up being the right move? I don’t know.
Am I excited? Absolutely.
Could potentially be the goat Bucs QB when it’s all said and done.
