After eight seasons with the Lakers, including leading the franchise to the 2020 NBA championship, James departs and enters free agency set to join a new team.
Lakers president Rob Pelinka and Rich Paul spoke a short time ago about the four-time champion's plans, sources said. James chose to inform the Lakers well before start of free agency tonight out of courtesy and appreciation for their run together, and to allow LA to conduct its offseason business.
As reported in an athletic article by @sam_amick the wolves would need to trade Jaden McDaniels, Naz Reid, Terrence Shannon Jr. and their two tradable first-round picks (No. 29 in this year’s draft and their 2033 pick). For Giannas and I’m taking that all day love max and Jaden

BREAKING: The New Orleans Pelicans are hiring Jamahl Mosley as the franchise's new head coach on a five-year contract, sources tell ESPN. Mosley accepts the Pelicans job after five seasons in Orlando where he guided the Magic to three consecutive playoff berths.
The maple leafs will likely have traded Fraser Minten and then 6th overall pick for a guy that hasn’t scored a goal in 2 years.
The #leafsforever need to take a page out of the capitals play book from 2 years ago. Hired an up and coming coach, trade for really good players when their value was down and it all clicked
Teams value firsts so differently, if I was a team trading a star away in targeting high impact young players with high upside. Vs a load of first rounds picks hoping to draft high impact young players with upside
