More on the new trains which seem controversial.
It seems from the press video that the livery has been updated and flows more!
Although new trains are good! This is a downgrade as these new 5-car trains are 121 meters long, compared to the 6-car 141.2 meter long 185s!
Hmm 29 5 car trains? What’s the point in extending all new TRU stations to 200m long platforms?
Unless then plan for a 10-car formation?

It’s great all be Leeds platforms are too narrow and not quite skewed right. Not to mention the roof heights feel too low compared to IRL.

It’s not often I’d call out things, but BBC News can’t even get the fact right?
As they cite there’s no XC service between Leeds and Manchester, which is wrong!
