Very sorry to have missed 2nd of 3 @jackquartet concerts @wigmore_hall today, but 1st and 3rd were (as expected) great. Many pieces were by composers unknown to me, some 'challenging', some wonderful; all were engrossing due to remarkable musicianship.

Yesterday @wigmore_hall - Catherine Lamb’s ‘Divisio Spiralis’ was all at once reassuring, disconcerting, questioning, resolving, disorientating, floating, and (though 90 minutes long) fleeting. Superbly (and warmly) played by @jackquartet. 👏
