You will fail, you will disappoint yourself and you will face hardships you never thought you’d face, but nothing will separate you from the love of God.

When a 90 year old worker, pushing carts at @WinnDixie supermarket in Metairie, Louisiana, was stopped by shopper @karenswensen, who asked why he was working on a sweltering hot day, he said: “to eat.” Within 24 hours, Karen raised 224,000 + on @gofundme for the 90 year old veteran who says he still won’t retire, but can now work without worry.

Noah waited on God to stop the rain. Sarah waited on God to bless her with a child. Joseph waited on God to fulfill His promise. Ruth waited on God for her Boaz. So if you’re in a season of waiting...don’t give up! God will NEVER waste the wait. Galatians 6:9

“The bee fertilizes the flower that it robs.” I have always loved this quote by Charles A. Beard. Even Nature demands that you cannot be a taker in life. You must put back into the world, and pollinate with service, in order for your life to blossom. #BeACoffeeBean

LIE: I’m not good enough. TRUTH: You matter. There’s greatness inside you. LIE: There is no hope for me. TRUTH: God has a plan for your life. Your best days are ahead. LIE: What if I fail? TRUTH: Failure doesn’t define you, if refines you. ☝🏻 Speak TRUTH to the LIES!

7 prayers before worship: 1. Lord, fix my heart upon Christ. 2. Lord, open my mind to your Word. 3. Lord, remind me of the gospel. 4. Lord, empty me of this world. 5. Lord, bless those who minister. 6. Lord, help me to encourage others. 7. Lord, equip me to respond in grace.

Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The U.S. Holocaust Museum answers "Why did the Holocaust occur?" The Museum: "Those in political power persecuted others because of their politics, ideology, or behavior." Let that sink in. #internationalholocaustremembranceday

Moses: “I can’t speak.” Job: “I have no peace.” David: “I am a worm.” Isaiah: “I am a man of unclean lips.” Elijah: “I have had enough, Lord.” Paul: “I am the chief of sinners.” In our inadequacy, God is always adequate!
