Lifting a gate off its hinges to let cows out isn’t funny especially for the people who have to get them back in! #yellowwellies @yellowwelliesuk #FarmLife #allcannings #moo2yoo #teamdairy #cows @FarmingUK #rant #Wiltshire #nobeepsrequired

Would spreading slurry / digestate into standing maize be something farms would consider doing?
..and they passed 👍. Great work by the team keeping these 13 year old trailers in safe working order
After being inspired by the local @NFUtweets farm vehicle safety day with @rustyfarmer50 we took our grain trailers for a brake test today..
#harvest2019 started for us. 14 ha less to put through the combine but I am sure we will still be the last to finish! 😂

We are looking at proposals to breathe new life into the tenanted sector, such as encouraging landlords to let farm business tenancies of ten years or more to give tenants more security.
If you work in the sector, make sure you make your views heard! consult.defra.gov.uk/ahdb-sp…

And this is where @RedTractorFood fail miserably ! The recent rubbish / expensive tv ad WE all paid for should have said “Did you know imported meat contains growth hormones banned in the uk decades ago ?” etc (there is a series of ads re chemicals / environment there !)
Thanks 2 Twitter we have been very lucky to recruit @redshepherdess to help with lambing she has certainly brightened the place up #TeamRed
