Things that only makes sense to a hairstylist.
1. The ability to spend six hours listening to other people’s problems, give amazing advice, and still have absolutely no idea what is for dinner.
2. You are able to be perfectly calm fixing a color disaster while your next client is sitting and waiting but you are unable to sit on the couch and do absolutely nothing.
3. Reply to a client’s text at 9:47 PM, but then complain that nobody respects your time.(whose fault is that?😆)
4. Your day off includes washing towels, ordering color, replying to DM’s, and creating Instagram content, but tell everybody that you are not working.
5. You can remember your client’s wedding anniversary, their dogs name, and what happened with her ex but you forget why you walked into the kitchen.
6. You spend 20 minutes fixing your clients hair to be perfect but then rush to pick up your kids looking like you haven’t brushed your hair in three days.
7. You can stand on your feet for seven hours straight but once you get home and sit down, you are absolutely done.
8. You spent $300 on new Equipment but will spend three weeks trying to decide if you wanna spend $50 on a new top.
9. You tell your clients to prioritize themselves, set boundaries, and stop feeling guilty, but then you turn around and do the exact opposite.
10. You squeeze in one more client because you feel bad but then wonder how come you haven’t had time to have lunch.
11. You say you wanna have a nice quiet weekend but you end up organizing the family outing, the kids activities, and manage everybody else’s appointments.
12. When somebody asks if you need any help you comment,” no I’ve got it,” then get mad that you are doing everything.
13. You are everybody’s hairdresser, Therapist, and problem solver. But when you’re struggling, you tell everybody you’re fine.

Just watched a video of a grown woman saying “Like so many of us I grew up watching The Price is Right with Drew Cary” and my bones turned to ash and blew away.
I want to live on an island where it’s 70 degrees all year round. And have Bloody Marys for breakfast.
I mean, it makes sense to look in to the uber driver as well.

Ghulam Karim (40) was last seen October 6 at approximately noon, after dropping his children off at their residence in Stafford, Texas.
Karim said he was going to work in the 3000 block of Almeda Genoa Road and was expected to return around midnight. He never returned, and his wife discovered he wasn't at work when she called the next day.
The detail that stands out is that Karim subsequently called in sick to work, according to the bulletin, and hasn't contacted his employer since.
His wallet and keys were reportedly left at home. #missingperson
