I’ll die on the hill that the only reason Eurovision fans haven’t been losing their minds over this song is because Leo’s not a girl. We haven’t seen this caliber of modern, polished, commercially marketable pop excellence in JESC since Qami Qami, but he’s a boy so nobody cares.

It’s becoming less mathematically reasonable to predict a situation in which the winner isn’t France, Portugal, or Ukraine. All indicators point toward each one doing very well in both the online & jury votes. It’d be very hard for anyone else to place higher than all 3 of them.

France & Ukraine still have good chances of winning, and there’s even a small chance Armenia, Spain, or even Ireland could clinch it, but a Portuguese win seems most likely as they appear to exceed all criteria needed to encourage a top placing in both the online and jury votes.
