Everyone wants a side income from AI. Almost nobody knows what to actually make.
So I asked Dola to build me something I could sell tonight: a budget spreadsheet template for freelancers.
Here is what I got. 🧵
🤝 Paid partnership
This is slick... it is a mixture of Siri AI with all the local and cloud indexing plus Muse agents while trying to run local as possible AND ingest your ChatGPT history ... hmmm looking very good
It looks like no costs for the first 1000 people!

Introducing Cogo Explore.
Pick a theme, how you want to move and how much time you have, and Cogo builds a route through the city that loops back to where you started.
Most trips in Cogo have a clear destination: the office, a parking spot, the station. Explore is for the other kind of trip. A free afternoon in a city you don't know yet, or a Saturday in the one you live in.
It starts with what you're into.
Food & Drink routes take you through the neighbourhoods where the city actually eats, from market halls to the corner spots locals swear by.
Photography routes find the viewpoints, streets and squares that make a city look its best, so you come home with more than the usual postcard shot.
Architecture routes connect the landmarks and the facades most people walk past. In Brussels, that could be 75 minutes from the Grand Place to the Palace of Justice and on to the Sablon. Five stops, under 3 km.
There are also routes for History, Hidden Gems, Street Art, Parks & Nature, Shopping and Nightlife. If none of those fit, set a custom theme and Cogo builds around it.
Choose one hour, two hours or a full afternoon. Cogo splits the route into short legs, adds a note on what you're looking at at every stop and navigates you there, in the same app you already use to park, charge or grab a bike.
Explore works on foot, by e-scooter, by e-bike and on public transport, in every city across Europe and the US.
Open Cogo and tap Explore to find your first route.

At least one social media company seems to be reversing its stance on whether it will accept advertising for Alex Gibney’s upcoming documentary about Elon Musk.

Can the US build a DJI? We bought a 2019 Mavic Mini and a 2023 Mini 4 Pro, tore them down in our hardware lab, and put them under a bench microscope to find out.

Why do we promise work in email and then rebrief an AI from scratch?
Sol finds what you said you would do, starts it on its own computer, and holds send until you approve.
$4M from General Catalyst and friends.
Early access at hellosol.app

The obvious is missing.
So we built Sol - hellosol.app
Sol finds the work itself, does it, and comes back for your approval.
Every day in our emails we say "I’ll share”, "I'll review”, "I'll get back" - then repeat the exact same thing to an AI. Why?
Sol finds everything you said you’d do & gets them started for you.
It does the research, creates the doc, builds the slides, finds the time, connects the dots across multiple emails, doing everything it takes to get the job done - but doesn’t send, schedule, or share anything until you approve.
Sol runs on its own computer, uses a browser, and has a library of skills that automatically get assigned to the work that needs to get done. No setup. It just starts working.
We've raised $4M from General Catalyst, Nexus Venture Partners, DeVC, PeerCheque, Kunal Shah, and a few others.
Extending early access now.

and you can run locally in your laptop (Q4_K_M is 4.68 GB only)
- the fix is in the text encoder, not the image weights
- refusals drop from 100 out of 100 to 5
- it does not get dumber on normal prompts
- edit with up to 10 reference images
- native transparency (stickers, cutouts, no extra mask step)

Uh oh…
Naughty Muse. The Anthropic Meta agentic AI app.
It is insidious but exposes AI functionality in a way that I like.

First, one of 0day PoCs: github.com/pwardle/not-a-mus…
Run with `-h` for some fun options from the 50+ commands Muse exposes.
Then click Muse’s 🎙️ and dictate a prompt. That’s the trigger. 👀
