He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8

The threat for severe weather has increased on Tue to level 3 of 5 (Enhanced Risk) across most of the North and remained the same elsewhere. The main threat is from damaging wind gusts and large hail, with an isolated tornado possible. It also will be very warm to hot inland Tue
ALT A forecast for Maine for July 14, 2026. The map highlights an Enhanced risk (orange) for severe thunderstorms inland and a Slight risk (yellow) for eastern Maine. These storms may bring wind gusts over 70 mph, golf ball-sized hail, and isolated tornadoes. Temperatures will be very warm to hot, with heat indices reaching the upper 80s to mid-90s, especially inland, before a cold front Tuesday night brings relief.
Do not rejoice over me, my enemy;
When I fall, I will arise;
When I sit in darkness,
The LORD will be a light to me. (Micah 7:8)
I am especially thankful for those who stand in the gap along that thin line between chaos and civility. Your service and sacrifice is remembered!

Charlie Kirk reminded us that a life of courage and virtue isn’t easy—but it’s worth living. His example should inspire us all to stand boldly for what’s right.

I have been through much over the course of my life, but the attacks of September 11, 2001 stand out for many reasons – the imagery, confusion, fear, and lasting impact on our way of life. To the victims who perished – in New York City, in Washington, in Pennsylvania – we will never forget your passing. And to those who rushed into harm’s way to save lives and protect the innocent, we will always remember your bravery, valor, and sacrifice.

Loved this tribute to MacArthur over on Instagram from his physical therapist.
He didn’t know who he was when he first started working with him and has such an interesting perspective.
Tonight I am remembering my buddy Clarence A. Cash who was KIA on 27 February 1991 in Desert Storm. In this video, put together by my son (videographer) and daughter (singer), a clip of Cash is seen at 2:25. Till we meet again my brother… Scouts Out! youtu.be/ydxwmT_fLCQ?feature…

We extend our deepest condolences to our brothers and sisters of the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and the friends and family of Deputy Gross.
I would like to say our country is being led by an inept coward but “led” is too strong a word! Sadly, America has lost more of its finest bravest men today in Kabul. Words cannot express the anger, frustration and absolute sadness this veteran is feeling today! #BidenDisaster
“A soft and sheltered Christianity, afraid to be lean and lone, unwilling to face the storms and brave the heights, will end up fat and foul in the cages of conformity.” ― Vance Havner
I agree wholeheartedly! It’s way past time to open the US-Canadian land border! America is suppose to be a beacon of liberty for the world and yet our own government has kept families separated since March of 2020. It’s absurd and wrong! #FreeMyPeople themainewire.com/2021/08/its…
