As a boy/teenager, I spent many school holidays here visiting my Dad. It was probably the place I first fell in love with the thought of coaching, watching the Fulham first team training on the pitch from my Dad’s office while he was out coaching himself.
I’ve stood and watched his teams play and train on these pitches when younger, so it felt great to come here today with a team of my own. Whilst I grew up in Nottingham, I was born only 20 minutes from Motspur Park, and today felt like a bit of a coaches homecoming for me.
Fantastic news, very proud of Mason. A hard-working, brave and intelligent young man who gives his all to the team. Can’t wait to see his development over the coming months and years. Well earned! ⚫️⚪️

12 years ago today I got on a plane to coach Bayangol FC in Mongolia as a 20 year old. One of the craziest things I’ve done! I cannot speak highly enough of the people I was privileged to meet + learning gained from the experience. It kickstarted the journey I am on today 🇲🇳
