Wall Street Journal editorial board: Trump ‘stuck a shiv in the back’ of Graham’s legacy yahoo.com/news/politics/arti…
⚡️BREAKING: Zelensky says vital US arms deliveries to Ukraine are being delayed
The Pentagon is postponing deliveries of weapons Ukraine needs, despite political agreements already reached.
The Ukrainian president also noted that Starlink restrictions remain in place on the front lines.
This is causing problems with military logistics and the use of drones.
In addition, Russian attacks overnight on October 19 damaged 28 substations and other critical Ukrainian energy facilities.
Zelensky said these issues would be discussed again with international partners.
According to The Kyiv Independent, the US is withholding Patriot missiles from Ukraine even though they have already been paid for by Ukraine’s allies.
“Contracts for Patriot missiles are on Hegseth’s desk. He isn’t signing them.” This could be an element of pressure on Kyiv.
Trump suspected of helping Russia
Former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy, who previously defended Donald Trump against allegations of ties to the Kremlin, has called on Congress to investigate the president’s actions that may have benefited Moscow.
In an article for National Review, he pointed to the easing of sanctions against Russia, economic concessions and restrictions on the Starshield satellite system used by Ukrainian forces.
In his view, the loss of connectivity could have left Ukrainian troops defenseless against a Russian attack launched at a moment favorable to Moscow.
McCarthy believes the circumstances surrounding the incident raise serious suspicions.
Even if the cause was a technical malfunction, it is necessary to establish exactly what happened, as the outcome has implications for the security of the United States and its allies.
The author also recalled that Trump has repeatedly expressed admiration for Putin and blamed Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Trump’s approval rating has fallen to 33% — the lowest of his presidency, The Washington Post reports.
The results were published ahead of the US congressional midterm elections scheduled for November 3.

It’s clear that @PeteHegseth has blood on his hands
The Pentagon is delaying the delivery of Patriot missiles to Ukraine—missiles that have already been paid for by allies, reports *The Kyiv Independent*.
A shipment of missiles, fully funded by Ukraine’s allies (including through NATO mechanisms), is awaiting Hegseth’s signature; however, the Pentagon chief is deliberately blocking the process.
The Ukrainian leadership views this decision as another form of political pressure from Washington.

This is a reminder that the Florida Senate election is a Special Election to finish out Marco Rubio’s 6 year term. If @AngieNixon wins, she’s immediately seated. She can help stop appointments and legislation a Republican majority tries to push through before a new Congress is seated in January.
Donte to her campaign and let’s get her elected!
BREAKING: Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito is reportedly considering retirement, potentially BEFORE the midterm elections.
The timing could be critical. If Alito steps down, Trump and Senate Republicans could rush to confirm his replacement before January 2027, when Democrats could potentially take control of the Senate.
The apparent strategy? Lock in another Trump-appointed Supreme Court justice before a new Democratic Senate majority could block his nominee.
So much from the Mitch McConnell rule I guess.

In today’s paper, the @TB_Times makes a strong, fact-based case for their endorsement of @davidjollyfl for our next Florida Governor.
“David Jolly is what Florida needs in a governor— centrist, practical, a capitalist who believes government should improve everyone’s life, not just the lives of those who vote for him. He’s tough, but not a bully. He’s smart, but remains relatable. He’ll push big ideas while keeping his own party’s left wing in check.”
(Before people dismiss it, this is a paper that has endorsed candidates in both parties up and down the ballot this cycle.)
