You know what's more fun than editing videos that I should be editing? Making us warm with bots to edit videos that I should be editing. Here's a pretty picture to show you the swarming bots. To edit the videos that are not yet edited.
First check I want in jsn: are the event queues backing up? ServiceNow uses events for flows, outbound email, and incoming email. I want an agent to show me when queues build up. Then node health and database size.
Anything I want an AI agent to work on with me needs to be in the CLI. Build decision tables or flows? jsn needs to do it. Measure system performance? Same. I start with what I want my agents to do.
A jsn user couldn’t read a table through jsn, but the official Now SDK could. My AI agents traced the calls and found a different auth path than the REST API. I updated jsn to use it. Real users find problems I miss. github.com/jacebenson/jsn
i remember early in my career wondering why most people missed out on building early internet products
but i look around now and i get it
so many people fiddling around with "my custom agent setup" and so few using this miracle of a tool to actually do anything
I built an AI helper for our D&D game. I hate character-creation math. My kids still roll, pick classes, and make the calls. It guides them and offers suggestions they can ignore. Now my son keeps making characters for me to use as NPCs.
JSN lets AI check, not guess. Ask about a flow or business rule, and it can search ServiceNow docs, code, and your instance. That’s what I want from a CLI: AI that can look at the real system. github.com/jacebenson/jsn
I built jsn so AI tools can work more closely with ServiceNow. It renders Flow Designer flows, subflows, and called actions as readable text. No clicking through every layer. github.com/jacebenson/jsn
New to ServiceNow? Curious about it? Looking for work, hiring, or working in AWS, Jira, or Salesforce? nullEDGE has useful conversations and community beyond the platform. Join us Oct 16: events.ringcentral.com/event…
I’d love to try this at a future nullEDGE. Two speakers, 30 minutes, same feature on two platforms, alternating three-minute demos. Would you watch? Which platforms should we pair?
You don’t have to watch every talk at nullEDGE. Skip what doesn’t fit your work. I give every speaker a spot in the schedule so you can pick what matters and fit talks into your day. Join us Oct 16: events.ringcentral.com/event…
Sponsors support nullEDGE. The talks are about learning: web services, ACLs, Instance Scans, AI, and useful work beyond ServiceNow. Join us Oct 16: events.ringcentral.com/event…
Every 15-minute tech talk should earn its time: teach me something I can use at work, or show enough proof to change what I do. If it does neither, why give it 15 minutes? Join nullEDGE Oct 16: events.ringcentral.com/event…
Live conference > replay. Ask speakers questions, meet people, try speed networking, and see sessions before editing and posting. Some talks never get recorded. Join nullEDGE Oct 16: events.ringcentral.com/event…

People need to apply to jobs even when they don’t have all the qualifications.
extremely excited about this!
Super excited to be interviewing @poteto, live, in ~48 hours on YouTube.
We'll be nerding out about skills, high-velocity software factories, and learning SOTA techniques for shipping with agents.
This Friday - 9AM PT. Don't miss it!
