Always fun building new stuff in Webflow. Got some pretty fun automations working in the background for this one.
Stay tuned as I'll be adding more sources soon and building out a daily jobs email soon.
Webflow family might dig this one, just got a Stream Deck and built out some basic automations. Planning on building out some more sophisticated ones later. Digging this so far.
Instant one click elements right next to my keyboard.
What else should I add to it?
Apparently Airtable automations has a limit of 50 automations per base.
Time to rework some automations when I get time.
Looks like Webflow implemented stricter logic for more than 20+ collection lists on a page.
Previously you could get around this by using components.
Now I can't add a link/code block and other elements on the page at all if there's more than 20+ on a page.
Anyone else see this?
This means I need to rework most of my sites so that I can even edit and make any changes.
I'd love to see more than 20 collections allowed on a page, without a price increase.
Thankfully with @useflowmonk I can fix a lot of these collections by using Airtable lookup fields.
I am removing all @lemonsqueezy affiliate offers from my sites and here is why you should too.
Are you an affiliate that advertises vendors that utilize LemonSqueezy? You should probably pay attention.
Over the last year plus I’ve actively promoted a ton of LemonSqueezy vendors, sending over 20k+ targeted clicks to offers from a number of different sites I own.
How many referrals were accounted for? 0
How much commissions were earned? $0
It’s clear there’s a problem with LemonSqueezy’s affiliate platform and I’m not sure where it is. Are vendors not properly setting up conversion tracking? Is there an issue with LemonSqueezy tracking and platform in general?
Who knows. I tried reaching out to LemonSqueezy and never received a response.
Here are some problems that I have, aside from the glaring tracking issues.
Lack of transparency:
Looking at JSON output from the affiliate dashboard gives you insight into tracking that isn’t immediately available for affiliates.
Did you know there are terms that aren’t visible during signing up to be a vendor affiliate or even on the affiliate dashboard?
Here’s just a few things that vendors can set based on this JSON data I analyzed and Affiliate documentation from LS website.
- Cookie length: (a majority are only 7 days)
- Minimum payouts: (most are $1,000 and I’ve seen $10,000 for some)
- Cookie type: (first or last)
This lack of transparency is 100% wrong. All affiliate terms for each vendor should be up front and center for anyone applying to be an affiliate, not invisible. None of this is shown in the affiliate dashboard.
Proper tracking and trust:
This is a huge problem with the affiliate industry. I can’t tell you how many times over the past 10+ years I’ve seen blatant abuse by companies with affiliate programs.
The lack of proper tracking and affiliation for referrals. My guess is that a lot of these vendors “forgot” to implement the tracking code properly. Whoops! I’m sure they just happened to overlook that.
I’ll end with this. If you are actively promoting any LemonSqueezy affiliate offers. It’s time to move on. You are losing money.
Horrible pricing update by @webflow, this is down right shameful.
Bandwidth just got slaughtered.
Pricing for a number of my projects just jumped from $49 - $229.
Want to add 10k extra items making your total CMS items to 20k? That's an extra $75/mo.
This is NOT a win, no matter how it is spun.

Looks like they changed the site after this tweet.
Currently shows a copy code to Webflow with a text input field.
So someone blatantly copied @relume_io assets and are offering them for free?

My favorite is the 3 hour loading times, navbar linking to an outdated homepage. Broken "style guide" download link.
Atleast they built the website in Webflow.
The anatomy of a link building scam. Here's how it works.
If you've been paying attention to your links in Ahrefs, SEMRush, etc. you've probably started to notice an uptick in links from domains like:
uplinke-keyword-seo. za . com
uplinke-ai-keyword-seo . za .com
Literally thousands of subdomains with links.
This inflates the links showing up in these link checking tools. All of the links utilize anchor text like:
Dominate Google Rankings with Proven Techniques for domain . com on Uplinke . com
All of these links eventually redirect to that domain Uplinke . com
Don't worry about these links, they'll fall off and Google isn't gonna count them. Blatant spam.
My favorite part of this entire link spam, somone has started to attack the redirected domain Uplinke . com with pingback/trackback and comment spam.
Mess with SEO's and it's bound to happen.

Just had a 4 month old freezer from @Costco fail. Thankfully caught it in time before hundreds of dollars of food was ruined.
They really don't make things like they used to anymore.
Some features I'd love to see with @airtable :
- View descriptions
I generally have a large number of Airtable Views, I hate super long view names and would love the ability to write a description for the views just as I can do for fields.
- Form image validation
I love that I can restrict uploads to certain file types, I'd love to limit uploads by image dimensions, example 1000 x 1000.
