Headcanon that in a more peaceful AU where the twins are just normal siblings growing up, their biggest conflict is just Zen being the biggest kinoko no yama chocolate fan while Yoichi is the biggest takenoko no sato chocolate fan.

Like kinoko no yama is great for not getting chocolate on your hands but takenoko no sato has a better chocolate-to-biscuit ratio...I think I might side with Yoichi more here...but kinoko no yama is so fun to eat...so I want to side with Zen...not getting dirty hands is so him

Of course Zen is born evil, he is the twin of Shigaraki Yoichi, the greater evil in all of MHA. Zen helped Yoichi create OFA so they could play catch for the next century while killing so many innocent lives in the process. Human lives are just toys to these evil twins.

Under the premise that the anime addition is canon, Yoichi is only named when AFO gave him the stockpiling power. This heavily suggests that he continued to identify himself by that name and introduced himself as 'AFO's first possession' to the resistance members. Why? (1/9)

Similarly, ichi (一) can mean 'first' or 'best' aside 'one'. If you can read Japanese, you will know that some meaning is a stretch. But it's not as big as a stretch than AFO naming Yoichi 'the eleventh son' and twisting the meaning into 'the first possession granted to me' (8/9)

Zen and Yoichi probably aren't aware that they were twins. There is no instance in the manga where they addressed that. At the very least, Yoichi might be the only brother who is aware of this fact, since AFO appears to have worse memories than him. (1/6)

Regardless, their identity didn't matter during that time of chaos. They were simply the 'big brother' and 'little brother' based on their sizes. Possibly nameless for more than two decades and the reason why Yoichi still called AFO 'Big Brother' because it is his name.(6/6)
