Last Day! 10 days, 15 Schools, over 6K teachers and students trained in Youth Mental Wellness. I ended each session asking them to teach what they learned to other students and family - they all committed to that. Last day had 700 Students at Libala and then a closing ceremony for the Certified Teachers who will continue to train other schools after I leave. THANK YOU ZAMBIA!
2nd to last day! 14 schools across the country done - 1 more to go tomorrow! Today we were in southern province !! You can see how impact Youth Mental Wellness is - and should be for kids who need their brains to navigate challenging life conditions.
Ambitious Youth Mental Wellness project well underway in Zambia. Today we headed south towards Zimbabwe. Classrooms have no outlets/power - no problem - we stood on chair and showed power of neurohacks as self-care tools! Note the Green bracelets on the kids!
Continuing our travel north to rural areas near the DRC border! Every child can benefit from Mental Wellness skills!! Take a listen!
Another amazing day! Today onwards, we left the city and went to rural schools. Listen to this testimonial-
The magic of short self-care tools on Youth Mental Health is very clear!
Over 1200 students and teachers in attendance over 3 schools in Lusaka today!! There really is a global starvation for Self-Care Skills for Youth Mental Wellness! Teachers are stressing how they need help to with burnout! stressed!
Day 2 about to wrap up. Certifying teachers/counselors is especially rewarding because when I leave Africa, they stay and spread the word in their schools and communities… this cohort in Lusaka has been special bc the challenges they face are so dire. Each classroom can have as many as 115 students in a small room …
And we are off … team dinner. These teachers are being Certified today/tomorrow … will eventually stay and teach Youth Mental Wellness across the country.
Headed out to Zambia, Africa, for an ambitious journey to impact Youth Mental Wellness - training teachers and going to 15 schools across the country. Follow me on this trip…

Incredibly proud of this project supporting Youth Mental Health in Bangladesh! youtu.be/5G5TNeaoEAc
Don’t have to be perfect at everything. Your average is good enough for average moments. Save your best for most important moments.
My favorite day in Bangladesh working on #youthmentalwellness - this school caters to homeless kids -Taught them many neurohacks to calm their brains. Challenged them to teach what they learned to other kids. They sang a beautiful song at the end.
Amazing Day 2 at the Healthcare Summit at University of Bangladesh working w Faculty and Students focus on Healthcare. These students will be taking Youth Mental Health practices from Neuro580gives throughout the country.
