Last December, there was a special election in TN-7 and we tried an experiment: What would happen if I stood at the Big Board and narrated the results as they came in? Just the numbers, one county at a time, without punditry, until we got a result. Would anyone watch?
About 750,000 did that night. The response was staggering. So we decided to do it for the entire 2026 primary season - which concluded last night with the RI Gov. primary. 21 livestreams, ranging from last night's 22-minute sprint to the 7+-hour SC/WI marathon of August 11, and more than 40 million views across all of them.
We are trying to reimagine what the election night experience can be. To those who've been watching, your response has served as powerful proof of concept. If you've helped us spread the word (a livestream can be tough to find!), I can't thank you enough. Nor can I adequately express my appreciation for all the folks here at NBC who have made this happen these last 9 months.
Please know that this is just the start. And please let us know what you think -- what worked, what didn't, what could we do to make these better?

Sources in United Torah Judaism report that Yaakov Asher will become party chairman, while long-serving MKs Moshe Gafni and Uri Maklev will not be included on the next electoral slate.
Gafni, who has been leading a hawkish line against Netanyahu and the partnership with the right-wing bloc, is one of the Knesset’s longest-serving lawmakers.
First elected in 1988 alongside Netanyahu and Deri, Gafni is unique in having served continuously for 38 years without leaving parliament.
With Gafni’s departure, the only Knesset members remaining from the previous millennium will be Benjamin Netanyahu, Aryeh Deri, and Ahmad Tibi.

No one cares who the VP fishes with. That's not remotely the question, and he knows it.
He said back in December 2025: "I find the idea that Tucker Carlson … that his views are somehow completely anathema to conservatism, that he has no place in the conservative movement, is frankly absurd. And I don’t think anybody actually believes it."
So, the real question is that: does the VP still think that? If so, why? Why, precisely, are Tucker Carlson's views -- El-Sayed as "America First," Trump as anti-Christ , feudalism as superior to our current system, propagandizing on behalf of shariah law and Russia, anti-Semitic conspiracism, etc. -- a part of the conservative movement?
