I've noticed a lot of new faces around here recently, so I wanted to take a moment to properly introduce ourselves and explain what AdCourt Analytics is all about. ๐๐พ
If you enjoy our content, you can follow everything we do on Telegram:

So, who are we?
I'm Izzy, one half of AdCourt Analytics. Together with Alex, I've spent almost 10 years analyzing and betting on professional tennis.
Funny enough we actually met through the betting community. After countless conversations about matches, we realized we were practically neighbours and what started as sharing ideas turned into a friendship and eventually became AdCourt Analytics.
Over the years, we've spent thousands of hours studying professional tennis, from ATP and WTA all the way down to Challengers and ITFs.
We also travel to tournaments throughout the season, giving us the chance to watch players live. Seeing movement, body language and tactical adjustments in person often tells you far more than a stat sheet ever could.
Our biggest edge isn't just statistics, but understanding matchups. Over the years we've developed our own betting framework based on recurring patterns we've identified across thousands of matches.
We know there's no such thing as winning every bet. Long-term betting is about consistently making +EV decisions and trusting the process.
An ROI of around 18% across more than 260 tracked bets doesn't happen by accident. It comes from preparation, discipline and sticking to a proven approach.
That's why we don't sell "guaranteed winners", impossible hit rates or lottery-ticket parlays.
Every official bet is placed on widely available main markets and can be replicated through Pinnacle, making our results transparent and realistic.
More importantly, we don't just want people to blindly copy our bets. We want them to understand why we're making them and become better bettors themselves.

โฐ 3:30 pm CET | G. Mpetshi Perricard [Q] ๐ซ๐ท - A. Fils [2] ๐ซ๐ท
Fils comes into Basel after a frustrating semifinal loss to Struff in Brussels, where he let a match slip away that looked to be in his hands. His serve has been unreliable lately, and on fast indoor courts, he can struggle when opponents rush him and take time away.
Now he faces Mpetshi Perricard, who has already won the title in Basel in 2024 and is perfectly suited to these ultra-fast, slick conditions. The qualifier held serve in 24 of 26 service games across qualifying, winning 86% of points behind his first serve. When he's serving like that, he's always capable of keeping matches close and forcing tiebreaks.
Perricard leads the H2H 2โ1, but those meetings came years ago at ITF and Challenger level, so I wouldn't read too much into that record. Fils is a much stronger returner than the opponents Perricard faced in qualifying and that could make the difference.
๐ฏ No bet. Perricard is dangerous in these conditions, but I'd rather wait until he shows sustained form before backing him against this level of opposition. Given Fils' superior overall game, I wouldn't rush to back the qualifier based on two good qualifying matches alone.
โฐ 6:00 pm CET | B. Shelton [1] ๐บ๐ธ - A. Kovacevic [LL] ๐บ๐ธ
Kovacevic enters the main draw as a lucky loser after losing in straight sets to Mpetshi Perricard in Q-R2. He served well throughout, holding in all 23 service games across his two matches, but the loss to Perricard isn't exactly the kind of result that should worry someone like Shelton.
The two Americans know each other's games well, and Shelton leads the H2H 3โ2. However, their last meeting was four years ago on the US Challenger circuit, when Shelton was still a long way from the player he's today.
Shelton's lefty serve and explosive forehand should give Kovacevic plenty to deal with. He can target the one-handed backhand and use his power to dictate rallies. Unless Shelton has an off day, this looks like a comfortable matchup for the top seed.
At 1.24 ML odds, though, there's little value in backing him pre-match. Just like with Jodar, I'd rather look for a live opportunity if the favourite gets off to a slow start.
๐ฏ No pre-match bet. If Kovacevic somehow takes the first set, I'll be looking at Shelton to turn it around live.
โฐ 7:30 pm CET | S. Wawrinka [WC] ๐จ๐ญ - J. Lehecka [8] ๐จ๐ฟ
This one is going to be emotional. โค๏ธ Stan Wawrinka plays his final professional tournament in front of his home crowd in Basel, bringing an incredible career to an end. Three Grand Slam titles, countless battles and one last night in front of the Swiss fans. What a moment.
Lehecka comes into this after a disappointing loss to Griekspoor, where he struggled to handle the scoreboard pressure. Now he'll face a packed arena desperate to see their hero get one more win. That atmosphere could make this a very different challenge.
Let's be realistic: Wawrinka isn't the player he once was, but indoors, he can still compete in the opening set. His serve and aggressive backhand can keep him in the match and with the crowd behind him, I expect him to give absolutely everything one last time.
๐ฏ Lean: Wawrinka +1.5 Games in Set 1 @ 2.00. We're taking a shot on the occasion. This isn't about expecting Stan to win the match, but about backing him to make one final set competitive. Our last-ever bet on Stan the Man. Whatever happens tonight, chapeau for an incredible career. ๐จ๐ญ
โฐ 3:00 pm CET | A. Michelsen ๐บ๐ธ - B. van De Zandschulp ๐ณ๐ฑ
Michelsen gets a chance for revenge after losing to van de Zandschulp in straight sets in Shanghai just two weeks ago. But I wouldn't read too much into Botic's latest performance in Brussels, where he looked well below his level and later withdrew from the doubles with a foot injury.
Van de Zandschulp can be extremely streaky. One week he looks completely off, the next he's back playing some seriously good tennis. He's also won his opening match in all four of his previous Basel appearances, so this is a venue where he tends to get going early.
The Shanghai H2H is worth considering, but Michelsen failed to convert any of his five break points that day, while Botic handled the big moments better. The fact that Michelsen is priced around the same odds as he was in Shanghai feels a little suspicious to me, especially given the Dutchman's ability to bounce back.
๐ฏ Lean: No pre-match bet. I lean towards Michelsen getting his revenge, but I don't expect an easy match. With van de Zandschulp's recent foot issue still a concern, I'm not keen to force a bet here.

โฐ 2:00 pm CET | A. Tabilo ๐จ๐ฑ - ๐ช๐ธ R. Jodar [3]
This is already the fourth meeting between these two in 2026, with Jodar leading the H2H 2โ1. Looking back at their previous encounters, one pattern stands out and that's the faster the courts, the better it gets for Jodar.
Tabilo had the upper hand in the slower conditions at Indian Wells, where his consistency and depth forced Jodar into errors. But on quicker courts in Washington and Cincinnati, the Spaniard's power and shot variation proved too much. In Cincinnati, he dominated 6โ2, 6โ1, winning 54% of return points while Tabilo managed just three baseline winners against 27 unforced errors.
Jodar has also improved his serve and overall decision-making throughout the season. Basel's quicker indoor conditions should suit his aggressive game far better than Tabilo's more counterpunching style. Another factor is Tabilo's unexplained withdrawal from Almaty. We don't know whether there's an underlying issue, but it's certainly something to keep in mind.
At 1.30, Jodar's ML odd is very low, especially considering the workload of a long season. Still, I struggle to see what Tabilo can consistently do to disrupt the Spaniard in these conditions.
๐ฏ No pre-match bet. The only angle I'd consider is a Jodar comeback livebetting angle if Tabilo somehow takes the first set. Otherwise, I'll pass at the current odds.
โฐ 1:30 pm CET | J. Kym [WC] ๐จ๐ญ - A. Rinderknech ๐ซ๐ท
Kym gets the homecourt advantage in Basel and comes in with good form and match rhythm. Rinderknech, meanwhile, is returning from an abdominal injury and hasn't played a match since the Davis Cup, leaving him with over a month without competitive tennis.
Thereโs a useful H2H here, too. Kym beat Rinderknech in Basel qualifying back in 2024, showing he can handle the Frenchman's power on these courts. The Swiss has also performed well in front of his home crowd, narrowly losing to Humbert in three tight sets here in his last outing in 2024.
Both players have big serves, so this could come down to a few key points. But Kym looks better prepared right now, while Rinderknech is a player who relies heavily on rhythm and timing. He had initially spoken about returning for Paris after his injury, so there's also a question of whether he's fully ready to compete or simply testing his body ahead of that event.
๐ฏ Lean: Kym ML @ 1.76. I'd have liked a slightly bigger odd, but I still see value on the home player given the circumstances.
โฐ 12:00 pm CET | H. Hurkacz [10] ๐ต๐ฑ - Z. Bergs ๐ง๐ช
Both players love indoor hardcourts and bring a big serve, but I see a potential letdown spot for Bergs here.
The Belgian is coming off an emotionally charged home event in Brussels after already arriving from China tired and dealing with jet lag. Now he has to reset quickly and go again with barely any downtime. That's a tough turnaround, especially against someone who can put you under constant pressure.
Thereโs also a recent H2H to consider. Hurkacz beat Bergs in four sets at the 2026 Australian Open, serving at 88% behind his first serve and firing 18 aces without getting broken. Bergs fought hard, but also admitted how mentally exhausting it is to face Hurkacz, with the Pole's serve keeping him under pressure throughout.
Bergs has a 33โ44 career record against servebots on hardcourt, suggesting he can struggle to generate enough pressure on their service games. That's a big concern against Hurkacz, who is extremely difficult to break when his serve is firing. The Pole also made the Basel final in his only previous appearance here in 2023, losing two tight tiebreaks.
๐ฏ Lean: Hurkacz ML @ 1.60. Given the matchup, the travel and fatigue concerns and Bergs' recent workload, I trust Hurkacz to have the upper hand again.

๐ฏ READ THE MATCH PERFECTLY.
Machac +1.5 Games in Set 1 @ 2.05 โ
Just as predicted, Machac came out firing and took the opening set before De Minaur's consistency and defensive level took over. The Aussie won the next two sets to complete the comeback.
๐ De Minaur Set 2 ML @ 1.90 โ
๐ De Minaur comeback @ 3.00 โ
This was exactly the pattern I laid down in the preview. Machac's firepower would cause problems early, but De Minaur's ability to absorb pressure and force extra balls became decisive as the match progressed.
This is what happens when you get the match dynamics right. ๐
Replying to @izzybtizzy
โฐ 3:00 pm CET | T. Machac [Q] ๐จ๐ฟ - A. De Minaur [5] ๐ฆ๐บ
De Minaur has reached the semifinals in Vienna in each of the last two years, so he clearly feels comfortable here. His defensive game is a nightmare for aggressive players, as you often have to hit three or four winners to finish a single point, and that can push opponents into overhitting. Machac is exactly the type of player who can fall into that trap.
The Czech has the firepower to trouble De Minaur, and indoor hard is arguably his strongest surface. He qualified with a straight-sets win over Moutet before receiving a walkover against Marozsan, so he should come in fresh. The clay H2H from 2025 is not particularly relevant surface-wise, but the match showed a familiar pattern. Machac started aggressively before De Minaur absorbed the pressure and capitalized on the Czechโs growing error count.
Machac has also made deep runs here, losing only to strong opposition in recent editions. I expect the Czech to come out swinging, but the Australianโs consistency should become increasingly important as the match progresses.
๐ฏ Lean: Machac +1.5 Games โ Set 1 @ 2.05. I like the Czech to keep the opening set competitive with his aggressive baseline game. If he takes the first set, De Minaur ML or De Minaur to win Set 2 would be interesting liveangles.

โฐ 3:00 pm CET | H. Rune [PR] ๐ฉ๐ฐ - Q. Halys ๐ซ๐ท
Halys has given Rune plenty of problems in the past and the conditions in Basel should suit the Frenchman perfectly. Rune generally prefers a bit more time on the ball, while the fast, slick indoor courts give Halys exactly what he wants and that are cheap points on serve and short rallies.
The H2H is 2-0 for Rune, but both matches were epic five-setters at Grand Slams. In both, Halys was able to push him hard before Rune's superior fitness and quality eventually made the difference. The problem now is that Rune is still nowhere near his best after his back issues, while Halys also withdrew from Brussels for unclear reasons.
Halys' indoor numbers since the start of 2025 aren't great at 4-10, and his tendency to struggle in deciding sets is a concern. Still, his matches regularly produce tiebreaks, with 11 across his last 14 indoor matches. Add Rune's current inconsistencies and the fast Basel conditions, and I expect a competitive match.
๐ฏ Lean: Over 23 Games @ 1.70. The Over 23.5 line is already adjusted, so I'm going with the slightly lower threshold.
โฐ 8:00 pm CET | D. Stricker [WC] ๐จ๐ญ - C. Ruud [9] ๐ณ๐ด
This is a really interesting matchup in Basel. Stricker loves these conditions and the 2023 meeting here is definitely worth remembering. He beat Ruud in three sets, using his lefty serve and aggressive forehand to take the racquet out of the Norwegian's hands. Ruud has struggled to impose his usual baseline game on these faster indoor courts, where his heavy topspin is less effective.
The more recent H2H from 2025 (Gstaad altitude clay) also showed that Stricker can trouble Ruud, even if the Norwegian eventually won in straight sets. Ruud was still finding his rhythm after a six-week absence back then, but Stricker pushed him hard in both sets.
The big question is Stricker's fitness. He had to retire in Roanne with an ankle injury, which obviously isn't ideal coming into this week. It could have been precautionary, though, and his excitement about playing in front of his home crowd is encouraging. Ruud, meanwhile, is playing his first indoor match in months and also withdrew from Basel for unclear reasons.
๐ฏ Lean: Stricker +1.5 Games in Set 1 @ 1.86. I'm not ready to back Stricker outright, but I like him to keep the opening set competitive on a surface that suits his game.

โฐ 7:00 pm CET | L. Darderi ๐ฎ๐น - M. Arnaldi ๐ฎ๐น
Darderi and indoor tennis just don't seem to be a great match, even if Vienna's slower conditions should suit him better than Almaty did. His 1-10 career indoor record is pretty brutal. Arnaldi isn't exactly an indoor specialist either, sitting at 14-28, but he did make the R16 here last year as a qualifier.
That said, I'm not really interested in backing Arnaldi as the favourite. His constant foot problems throughout 2026 make it difficult to trust him, especially in what could turn into a physical battle. Darderi should be more comfortable against a fellow clay-court grinder than against a proper indoor specialist, so I wouldn't completely rule him out either.
๐ฏ Lean: No bet. There are arguments on both sides, but neither gives me enough confidence to get involved at the current odds.
โฐ 8:00 pm CET | L. van Assche ๐ซ๐ท - L. Tien ๐บ๐ธ
This one screams three sets to me. Van Assche comes off an epic three-and-a-half-hour battle against Musetti in Lyon on Friday night, saving match point before eventually going down in the third. It was an incredible performance, but also a physically demanding one, and travelling from Lyon to Vienna is a completely different challenge from playing in front of your home crowd.
This should be a fascinating matchup. Both are excellent redirectors who love to use their opponents' pace against them. Van Assche often starts slowly before digging in and raising his level in the second set, so I wouldn't be surprised to see another long, scrappy battle with plenty of breaks.
The other concern is Tien's physical condition. He's been showing signs of wear and tear towards the end of a long season, and his attritional playing style certainly doesn't make things easier. But Tien has the higher overall ceiling and more quality in his game, so I'm not convinced Van Assche can sustain this level again.
๐ฏ Lean: No bet. The matchup looks made for a three-set grindfest, but I don't want to force an angle when Tien's fitness makes this tricky to price.
