Let's talk about some aMAzing things that have happened in the past few days, starting with Indoor Track & Field! - @izzybjohnson won shot put at the Icebreaker Invitational with a distance of 38 feet! - Sarah Elizabeth Casey placed 6th overall in high jump, with a height of 4'10"! - Eli Jernigan now holds the fastest times in 1A-3A in the 60m (7.37) and 400m (52.52)! (Thanks to Coaches @kayeruns and Chris Colvin for the updates and photos)

Update on Indoor Track & Field where our own @izzybjohnson has done WORK at the Holiday Invitational in B’ham… - smashed her own school record in shot put by a stunning SIX FEET, throwing for 39’0” - set the in-season state record (1-3A) - won 🥇 overall, 1A-7A 🦅💙❤️

THAT’S MATCH!!!!!!! THE EAGLES ARE BRINGING THE BLUE MAP BACK HOME WHERE IT BELONGS!!! Eagles take Set 4, 25-14. They lost 1 Set the entire postseason going 53-6 overall on the season and bringing home their 8th STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!! GOOOOO EAGLES!!!

A listing of Montgomery Academy school records broken this week! Isabella Johnson in shot put with a throw of 36-6 and discus 108-7. The records she broke were her own. Grant Casey in the 2 mile and the 3200m with a 2 mile time of 9:34.57 which when converted is a 9:31.24 3200m. Eli Jernigan in the 400m with a time of 51.18. Skyler Stovall in High Jump at Monday MAdness with a height of 5-10. Sarah Elizabeth Casey tied the High Jump record at Monday MAdness with a height of 5-2.
